Wow!! This hotel is beautiful, the grounds are stunning, our Suite was awesome - lovely four poster bed, spa bath and secluded.
The dinner and breakfast were both fabulous - and the hotel made an extra effort for my husband's birthday.
All of the staff were super friendly.
The swimming pool is just the ultimate place to relax and unwind...
What a unique place.
Definitely could have stayed longer.

A stunning hotel with efficient and friendly staff. Fernando and his team have made my recent stay quite perfect - the hotel is beautifully renovated and set within lovely gardens, with a large pool that has views of the mountains. Breakfasts are fabulous and just what you need to start your day. Relax and enjoy your stay here.

I found myself with a trove of unspent frequent flyer miles, which were soon to be no longer valid and decided to spend them on a weekend stay on a discovery trip. Ronda was a place that attracted my attention for its mountainous location and the old city, with its famous deep gorge El Tajo, very old bullring and the many nearby historical beautiful buildings. And then, you have the famous Carmen of Ronda character, of Bizet's namesake opera. Browsing hotels in the area, I wanted to choose one not in the city, looking for a secluded place, still close enough to Ronda at 15 minutes by car. This is how I found Hotel Molino del Arco, and after checking former guests' reviews, I booked a two-day stay for me and my wife.

With the guidance of a mapping app, we found easily the road to the hotel. The last 3 km is a slow country road, with signs showing the right way to the hotel at the road crossings. After arrival and parking the car next to an olive tree, we were warmly welcomed by Fernando. He explained to us the history of the property and the hotel buildings and showed us the facilities of the hotel, then our room and finally the gardens. Fernando is a helpful source of what to do in the area. We did some walking in the area, which is very quiet. We loved it.

The decoration is stylish rural chic, with quality furniture and materials and many modern paintings.

The bedroom was very spacious, with a very high gable roof and a queen size bed. The mattress was on the soft side for me and there were soft and hard pillows to choose from. The bedroom has direct access to a patio with a couple of iron-wire chairs and a side round table. The window frames are iroko wood made, painted in a nice olive-green colour. The room had a big en-suite bathroom with a toilet, a bidet (we are in Europe!), a two-sink marble vanity, and a huge polished concrete bathtub.
We did not use the bedroom AC/heating system, so cannot say how it performs.
I had dinner the last night. Fernando and his team (we were also hosted by Ana and Javier), asked us in the afternoon if we planned to have dinner, to make accommodations in the kitchen. The dining room decoration and table menagerie were nice and the food was alright for the hotel category. I tasted a red wine from Ronda, which I was surprised to find to be very good, and this is something in a country where Rioja and Ribera del Duero reds rule.

Finally, I want to repeat the experience in the future.

just WOW! Fabio and Fernando have been the kindest and most attentive people. the hotel is huge, such a relaxing space 15 minutes by car from Ronda in the Andalusian dry nature. rooms and nice and clean, the bed is big and comfortable. pool space is nice and they offer also thai massages. they serve also the dinner but since we were not so hungry we asked if it was possible to share just one or two portions and they satisfied our request. food was also very good. Molino del Arco is highly recommended, we have been treated amazingly.

The hotel is simply stunning in terms of location, one could be in Tuscany such is the beauty of the landscape, its garden's and swimming pool are a joy to chill out. The lounges and outside terrace are set looking out over the landscape and enhance a feeling of tranquility and well being. The breakfast is everything a guest could wish for, a choice of scrambled, fried or boiled eggs with bacon as well, backed up with fresh fruit, pastries and pancakes served with honey should set any guest up for the day. The restaurant menu includes a menu del dia in the evening and also Al La Carte choices, a good wine list at reasonable prices completes the dining pleasure at this hotel.

After a week travelling around (e.g. Granada, Ronda, Marbella, Sevilla) and visiting some very nice hôtels and Paradors, I must admit that "Cortijo El Molino del Arco" was under my perspective another magnitude better. At least the most positive surprise !!!!
Rooms are like suites.

99% of times I skip hotel' breakfasts since they disapoint me. Here breakfast is gorgeous.

Fernando and Cristina are perfect host. They make you feel part of the family.

Enjoy !!!

Incredible countryside hotel. Peaceful, beautiful and comfortable. Gent the duck and buy some of the local olive oil.
Be sure to use the (somewhat hidden) pool and enjoy the views
