Camping Alto de Viñuelas

Stayed here very recently, spectacular views looking at the snow capped mountains. Really warm & friendly welcome from reception. Hot showers & outside washing-up facilites. We loved the village Beas which is a 5-10 minute walk downhill. There is also a bus stop right outside the campsite which takes you into Granada.

We arrived in our motorhome to be met by a very pleasant gentleman on reception. We chose our own plot. It was a stop over for 2 nights on our way home to Alicante. The pretty village of Beas is well worth a visit just 5 to 10 mins walk from the campsite. There is a bus stop outside the site that takes you into Granada. The toilet and shower block is good with plenty of hot water and there are washing up facilities. The views of the mountains are beautiful. There is also a nice pool with sun lounges and a restaurant serving good food.

Motorhome for one night. Lovely location, clean amenities. Not suitable for people with mobility difficulties as quite steep to reach showers , wash area, etc.
Had a meal at the restaurant, we were the only ones in, due to bad weather. Lovely young lady cooking and serving.

We are just ending our 7 night stay here. We only booked for 3 but stayed longer because we loved it so much. Fabulous views over the mountains and close to the wonderful city of Granada.
The staff are so friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome.
The facilities could do with a little updating but are always spotlessly clean and for the price we paid with ACSI we were more than happy.

Gem! Lovely little campsite on shady terraces. Nice little pool, restrooms perfectly clean. Staff so friendly. And what a view!
Enjoyed it so much more than the busy campsites at the sea.
Hope to come back some day.

A fabulous little site. The reception staff are very helpful. The pitch sizes are generous. The ablutions are kept clean and fresh smelling. There's a bus stop right outside the site with buses to Granada - with a reduced service at the weekend. The views are fabulous.
The only downside - out of the campsite's control - was that the restaurant outside the gate was closed. However, just 800m away in the local village is an excellent restaurant.

Nice place to stay with motorhome. Take into consideration that plot should be reserved before arrival and reception is closed after 22:00. We did not know that and caused a little problem for the staff, but everything was resolved without problems for both of us.

Very good campsite its out of the way, very quiet and lovely views. Shower/toilets very clean, just 30 mins from Granada centre. It has a small town 5 mins away it has a small super market and a farmacy within the town. The campsite has a very good restaurant delicious food for reasonable prices. We only came for 2 days and we have stayed over a week, would recommend this place to ppl who want to enjoy a quite and peaceful stay, will definitely come again.

Loved it, easy access from the motorway, although it is on a hill all plots are flat, clean, tidy and well cared for. Good value well run restaurant serving traditional Spanish fare. Lovely views of surrounding countryside. Super Bueno.

Peaceful camping in a great area. The camping is small and quiet. The site is surrounded by old olive trees and a small vine field. It lies on a hill side with great views over the landscape towards the Sierra Nevada.

They have a small pool to refresh. All amenities are in good shape and very clean. There is a washing machine and a tumbler for a reasonable fee. WiFi is slow, but also extremely cheap.

The reception is friendly and helpful. You can order bread for the next morning.

We loved the camping so much, we decided to stay two days instead of the planned one. Will definitely return when in the area — maybe even plan a trip around visiting the camp site and area again.

Excellent campsite with mixed nationality guests. Really friendly welcome from very good English speaker in reveption. Pitches are covered in small gravel and are arranged on flat walled terraces on hillside. Most have shade from trees and some have good views of the Sierra Nevada mountains. We paid €19 a night (we don't need electricity). There is a small pool and clean and well maintained toilet and shower block. Good Wifi and hot water for washing dishes and a washing machine and dryer available for €5. There is an independant restaurant at the entrance which we did not visit, but which is apparantly recommended. This is the perfect spot to visit Granada and the Alhambra or the Sierra Nevada. There is even a bus which stops several times a day at the campsite and will take you to Granada city center for €1.80.

Lovely camp site. Toilets and showers clean and well maintained. Really nice restaurant by the entrance. Bus stop outside the site, around 30 minutes to town. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Word of warning, don't try and drive your motorhome into the village, roads very narrow.

Cannot recommend this more. We stayed at their bungalows for a few nights. It was really comfortable and quite peaceful camping. The owners and staff were super friendly. They also helped her fix our car after a stressful accident we had on the road. The food in the nearby restaurant is also delicious (including the lemonade and mojito). The only downside is that there are many bees and wasps in the area but Witth some repellent we took care of them

We were here in May 2015. Great place, although nobody could speak English. But we managed it - they spoke Spanish, we English, everything was fine. :D Showers, camping for tents, you can park your car next to the tent and the view... the awesome view. If you love nature, this is cool place to stay.

Nice small campsite with a fantastic view on the snowy mountains and friendly owners. Not suitable for campingcars over 8 meter.

Fantastic camping with stunning views at 1.5 km from motorway and just 20km from Granada, all clean and nice pool area , hard soil. Friendly manager.

Beautiful location in the mountains very tranquil. Receptionist friendly and spoke excellent English. Bus to Granada available from campsite entrance. Nice pool.

Found this place by accident, but would rate this place 1st class. Staff very friendly and helpful. Services spotless. Food great and friendly too, ( only draw back not open tues) A lot better than others rejected on the way.

Very nice small camp site. Great view into the mountains. Personel speaks English. Bathrooms are simple, but clean.
