Venta Restaurante El Cortijo

We stop here about once a month, basically every time we drive by...

The outdoor patio has a comfortable feel and the food is amazing. The inside bar area is exactly what you would expect of a venta. I believe they have an inside restaurant beyond it but have never made it past the bar section, so don't know anything about it.

Back to the food. Everything we have had has been really tasty. In particular, I think they have the best albondigas in this region.

The servers are patient with us and our Spanish skills. They have always been happy to answer any questions I have about what things are...

They have a large parking lot but it can be busy on some afternoons. We usually try to arrive a little bit before "lunch time" if we are going by on a nice weekend day to be sure we can get a table outside...

Old traditional place. I had a Good breakfet. Relaxed atmosphere.

I took the oxtail (rabo de toro) and it really reminded me of my old grandma cooking. Delicious ! I just left 2 very clean bones

First time I visited this beautiful place. Great food, great service and great value.

Amazing!! The lamb was super tasty and cheap, at 18 euros you get an amazing meal for two.

Popular prices, food made whit love, and something I loved is instead of having the full dish you can get a tapa(small portion) for a reasonable price, in bank Hollidays better to book it

Buenissssima caldereta de venado. (Excellent slow cooked venison stew) Good wine. Value for money

Traditional and tipical andalusian "venta", it offers very good cooking and comfortable accommodation at a very nice price. I suggest a visit, at least just to taste the wonderful food.
Il luogo è tradizionale e caratteristico. Cucina a 5 stelle. Albergo comodo e accogliente. Pezzi ottimi. Altamente consigliato!

A bit pricier than the other bar round the village but the food is very good quality, inside is nice during winter because of the big fire pit which warms up the whole building.
