B&B Casa Luz del Sur (adults only)

Absolutely amazing place to stay. We only stayed 4 nights, but never wanted to leave anymore. The breakfast is fresh and the one of best we've ever had. Everything is homemade with personal touch. Pieter & Margot are lovely and attentive. The rooms are spacious, lovely decorated, and all of the rooms have a private outside space. The pool area is well taken care of the good equipped with an honesty bar. Thank you for everything!

Casa Luz del Sur, a beautiful spot to relax. A lovingly restored finca, where it is easy to feel at home. A breakfast with lots of homemade delicacies. Casa Luz del Sur should be named "The leading B&B accommodation of the world" as this would be worthy of what we encountered here. The rooms are high quality and very tastefully decorated as well as extremely clean. The two owners, Margot & Pieter, take very good care of their guests and we felt very comfortable after only a short time. All in all: TOP and a stay is absolutely recommendable! Rosa and Michael

A lovely and special place to stay on the outskirts of the Town. We have two nights here in early November with long sunny days and cool clear nights.
The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and super clean. Great shower plus quiet at night. Plenty of shade or sun around a big pool and terrace.
Breakfast is fantastic. Very good quality and choice. We ate on the breakfast terrace both mornings with breakfast available till 11 am if you are feeling lazy.
All in all one of the best b&b that we have ever stayed at.

In English (as a Dutchman) as Casa del Luz is internationally orientated.
They (Pieter and Margot) call themselves a B&B, but in my opinion, it is a luxury hotel with only a few rooms and no restaurant. Swimming pool with a self-service bar. An A+ for Hygiene. A perfect place to really relax and to charge your batteries again. The breakfast is the proud work of Pieter every morning, the buffet is a colorful pallet of all fresh products and all sorts of bread just out of the oven. Close to Malaga, Marbella, many beaches and other things to see, like the carminito del Rey. Situated on a mountain, there is always is a fresh breeze. 20 minutes’ walk to Alhaurin del Grande with numerous bars and restaurants. Golf course at 3km and many others in the vicinity. In short, Casa del Luz is highly recommendable.

Casa Luz del Sur is a magical place. Situated between Malaga and Marbella, only 20-30mins driving from the coast, it is a peaceful oasis surrounded by stunning landscape.

Pieter and Margot are fantastic hosts - they made us feel at home and gave us the best recommendation to visit the area and make the most out of our stay!

My boyfriend and I couldn't choose a better place for a break from the city and we'll definitely stay here again in our next trip to Andalusia!

We joined in the final rehearsal end of May (they open June 2nd). What a nice oasis: very comfortable and nicely decorated rooms, spacious walled garden with pool, comfy seats and small bar, fast internet (fiber based...), rich fresh breakfast, nice village with many restaurants at 1 km, many attractions within half hour drive (Malaga, beach, hiking trails) and of course the generous hospitality of hosts Pieter and Margot. We’ll be back!

Séjour incroyable 🤩 Tout est parfait ! Je vous recommande vivement de découvrir ce lieu magique, beau et calme. La maison et les chambres sont pleines de charmes. Le lieu est super calme, la piscine est superbe.
BIG UP pour l'accueil et le petit déjeuner avec des produits locaux, des Cakes et du pain fait maison et avec amour et un buffet à volonté qui convient à tous 🙏

Nous avons séjourné dans ce magnifique lieu en Juin 2023 et espérons revenir bientôt.

Casa Luz del Sur è un luogo perfetto per rilassarsi e sentirsi come a casa propria, coccolati dai meravigliosi padroni di casa Margot & Pieter . La colazione è strepitosa , molto ricca con tutti ingredienti di qualità e pietanze squisite, preparate dal bravissimo Pieter che ha una passione per la cucina e la ricerca degli alimenti salutari. Le camere e tutta la struttura sono ben curate , spaziose e pulite. Se c’è da segnalare qualcosa forse è la posizione un po’ lontana rispetto al mare, ma con l’auto si può raggiungere sia Malaga che Marbella in circa 30 - 40 minuti … peccato aver soggiornato solo 3 notti!!

Pasamos dos noche estupendas. El desayuno es muy bueno y variado. Hay todo tipo de frutas, dos tipos de panes, bizcocho, varios tipos de quesos, jamón y algún embutido más, entre otras cosas.
También tienen disponible desayuno sin gluten (hay que solicitarlo antes)

Cuando llegas el sueño te hace un tour y te explica todo, te da las llaves de la habitación con un mando para el portón para salir y entrar con el coche cuando quieras (el parking es gratis)

En la piscina hay un bar en el que te sirves tu mismo y anotas lo que consumes. Hay una lista de precios de todo. No hace falta llevar toalla de piscina, en la habitación habrá dos.

Se está muy a gusto, aunque hay que salir para comer y cenar y las almohadas no era demasiado cómodas.

We komen hier alweer voor de achtste(!) keer en blijven terugkomen! Deze oase bevat alle componenten om lekker tot rust te komen. De kamers \huisjes gesitueerd rondom het zwembad hebben hun eigen terrasje om van de zonsondergang te genieten. Het ontbijt is er ook een uit duizenden: alles is homemade en vers. Een buffet waar geen einde aan lijkt te komen en dan verzorgen Pieter en Margot ook nog eens de "speciale"wensen!
De gastheer heeft een database met restaurantjes, chiringuito's op witte stranden, bezienswaardigheden en activiteiten die hij graag met je deelt.
Kortom een aanrader! ( en wij hebben alweer gereserveerd voor een volgende keer...)

Wij hebben een geweldig verlijf gehad bij Pieter and Margot. Ontzettend mooie kamers, een heerlijk zwembad, en twee fantastische hosts. O, en het ontbijt, daar komen we nog een keer voor terug (jammer dat we een van de ochtenden het ontbijt hebben gemist ;)).

Para quem verdadeiramente quer desfrutar da tranquilidade e de um serviço de excelência, pode vir a este local para comprovar, os donos são uma simpatia e o meio envolvente desta casa, deixa-nos a pensar, que são estes os verdadeiros momentos que devemos levar da nossa vida. Uma palavra de apreço, pelo cuidado de tudo, o quarto com uma decoração de excelência, casa de banho de espaço abundante, a limpeza da piscina e toda a área envolvente, pequeno almoço de nível top, com a quantidade dos seus produtos que nos apresenta a evidenciar isso mesmo. Em resumo, excelente Top. Parabéns

We zijn hier al weer voor de 8e keer en het was weer heerlijk
Gastheer Pieter en gastvrouw Margot zijn super vriendelijk en het ontbijt mag je eigenlijk een Brunche noemen zo veel keuze en alles vers en homemade met spaanse lekkernijen. Zij geven ons elke keer tips over mooie strandjes en waar we lekker aan t strand kunnen eten
De kamers zijn fijn en ruim goede bedden en we hebben veel privacy en kunnen in de avond nog genieten en buiten zitten of nog een frisse duik in het zwembad nemen

Incroyable ! Le lieu est un véritable havre de paix. Peter le maître des lieux est d’une gentillesse et d’une bienveillance sans pareil. Le petit déjeuner est un véritable festin.
