Really special experience at Casa 44. Brennan & Andrew are incredible hosts -- they've designed Casa 44 impeccably, with a lot of heart, and the whole experience is geared towards relaxation. The rooms are gorgeous and comfortable. The terrace and the view are stunning.  Breakfast was beautiful and beyond expectation -- plus, they catered to my dietary limitations without anything wanting at all. The location is very walkable to explore the town. Andrew & Brennan are so warm, friendly and accommodating. They're very easy to chat to and shared great recommendations for restaurants and activities. It was an exceptional weekend. I wouldn't hesitate to book again, and I can't wait to return.

Andrew and Brennan are simply the best hosts who provide a wonderful welcome and an extrordinary breakfast to set you up for the day.
In Casa 44, they have created a beautiful, stylish and comfortable retreat in the old town area of Alhaurin el Grande within easy walking distance of excellent restaurants.
The town itself is a great central base for visiting not only Malaga and Marbella on the coast, but Mijas and Ronda inland.
So we would advise anybody to pick up a car at Malaga Airport and go and explore.

What a great stay we had at Casa44! Brennan and Andrew are the perfect hosts, the rooms are wonderfull, the breakfast is delicous. We are not used to stay in B&B's, but I'm pretty sure it can't get any better than this.

There aren't enough stars to give Casa 44, I have travelled the world and I haven't found a better place to stay; the accommodation is beautifully designed, the breakfast is of the highest quality I have ever had, and Brennan & Andrew are the kindest hosts you could ever wish for. If you are considering staying here, stop considering and book, it will not disappoint.

Casa 44 is beautiful with the most fantastic warm and friendly hosts Brennan and Andrew It’s clean and has a lot of comfort items to make you feel at home.
They went the extra mile to even serve up the most amazing vegan breakfast every morning we were in food heaven.
The environment was chic and welcoming with stunning views of the mountains from the terrace. Centrally located to fantastic restaurants recommended by our lovely hosts for dinner, Thank you so much, it was a pleasure to meet you both and stay at casa 44.

This is the second time we have had the pleasure of staying at Casa 44 and we cannot recommend it highly enough! Brennan and Andrew are the most wonderful people and simply incredible hosts! We were lucky enough to be able to stay in the beautiful Fandango suite in the week before our wedding in Coin. Brennan and Andrew could not do any more for us (or our wedding guests who stayed with them during the week of the wedding) they went above and beyond in every way! We could not be more grateful for their hospitality and the breakfast is a foodie’s heaven!

Excellent sums up the experience nicely. Casa 44 is perfect to relax and enjoy all the creature comforts in this impeccable decorated town house. In such a quaint street so easy to get around on foot and leave the car at the door for daytime outings. Alhaurin el Grande is a beautiful location and Brennan and Andrew have embraced the town and become very much part of the community adding their special sparkle. The two rooms are both beautiful. We stayed in Fandango and had an en-suite and extra lounge overlooking the street. The terrace is a haven of peace and relaxation overlooking an ever changing landscape of the surrounding area with the mountains as a backdrop. The honesty bar provides an easy way to enjoy your time up there watching the sun set. There are lots of things to do and the intrepid hosts go far and beyond to make your holiday wonderful. Just as they were on screen in a new life in the sun. If felt as if we had already met them and that they were friends already. The breakfast is divine. Can’t wait to return!

Lovely couple, stunning town house, excellent breakfast, wonderful visit. I can't recommend Brennan and Andrew's beautiful Casa 44 enough. The boys are warm, friendly and extremely welcoming. We stayed in the Fandango suite which is tastefully decorated and furnished with a gorgeous sitting room, double bedroom with a king size bed and ensuite bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast was delicious and all local produce. Brennan and Andrew have exquisite taste which shows up in everything they do. We'll be back again and again.

Where does one start?

A stay at Casa 44 is no ordinary stay in a boutique B&B or hotel. It is a totally unique experience, from which you will come away enriched, refreshed and invigorated. It is an oasis of calm, that will leave its mark on you forever.

The experience for us began long before we arrived with welcoming messages from Brennan. He even booked a romantic meal for us at the best restaurant in town weeks in advance of our stay. Casa 44 was our first stop during our honeymoon tour of Andalucia and on request he sorted and arranged the most beautiful bouquet of flowers as a special surprise for my wife.

Andrew and Brennan are the most beautiful, kind and thoughtful hosts, welcoming you into Casa 44 as their friends. It feels like you’re being welcomed into their own home, such is their warmth and kindness. Our welcome consisted of being met at the door, our cases being whisked inside within seconds, followed by a tour of Casa 44 and our amazing Fandango suite. In the lounge of the suite was a handwritten welcome card together with a bottle of bubbly on ice and a voucher towards a massage. They allowed us to settle in for a few minutes and to take in the beautiful surroundings and then treated us to tea/coffee on the wonderful rooftop terrace with its breathtaking views, complete with Andrew’s own homemade to-die-for chocolate brownies. The welcome continued with a map tour of Alhaurín el Grande on the terrace, followed by a walking tour of the town for an hour or so, with them pointing out places to eat and explaining the history of the town.

The Fandango suite is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed and their attention to detail second to none, even down to the Casa 44 hand fans on the bed, the Alexa in the room, the honestly bar and tranquil smells and music wafting through the house.

The breakfasts are a feast for the eyes and for the body, with homemade gazpacho and cooked delights, and a wonderful selection of locally produced fruit, meats and cheese. Best breakfast we have ever had, and Brennan also let me have the recipe for his gazpacho!

Nothing was too much trouble; from booking the amazing sensory recall massage and the excellent meals at Santiago’s Kitchen and SamSam Bistro to even ironing my shirt. We felt thoroughly pampered!

Our stay at Casa 44 was for just two unforgettable nights, but Andrew and Brennan gave us memories that will last a lifetime. It is a special place and Andrew and Brennan are very special hosts. Thank you again both. We will be back! xx

Casa 44 is the most exquisite house on a typically Spanish, quiet street in the old town, which has been beautifully and creatively decorated by its owners. The breakfasts were off-the-scale delicious (all very locally sourced and lovingly prepared fresh every morning) and Andrew & Brennan were so friendly and chatty, I felt as though I were family. They had great insider tips about places to visit, where to eat etc too. Every morning, I went up to the terrace to watch the sunrise over the mountains, and they brought me up a cup of tea! I had a very comfy bed, a spacious lounge area with high ceilings and amazing art, super fast wifi, luxury toiletries, snuggly towels... the list goes on. The place even smells delicious and every evening when I came in, there were candles lit and there was gentle guitar music playing. I didn't want to leave!!

Wanting to escape for a short break, we stayed at Casa44 for 4 nights. Im not one normally lost for words, but I'm struggling to find superlatives to express my fondness for Brennan & Andrew and their wonderful home. Such a beautiful place to relax and beautiful surroundings. We felt truly pampered and cared for, nothing was too much trouble...restaurants were booked, taxis arranged and an inexhaustible supply of knowledge on the local area and its history. Breakfasts were awesome, it was so lovely to eat the fresh produce sourced from the local area. We came home relaxed and revitalised and already planning our next trip. All I can say is....get booked in as soon as you can and enjoy some Spanish sun, food and culture. Thank you guys

Andrew and Brennan are the perfect hosts who have made the most tasteful and beautiful place to stay. It is in an authentically Spanish town and their attention to detail with the accommodation means you are living in luxury whilst there. As naturalized locals they will also ensure that you will steered to all the best restaurants and that your holiday is tailored to meet your desires. A wonderful and magical experience. We had the joy to stay at Casa 44 for 5 days. Brennan and Andrew are such great guys and made us feel welcome immediately. From going through the front door on a typical Spanish Pueblo Blanco street on our arrival then 1 minute later onto a stunning roof terrace - it felt like a new Narnia!

We had the Flamenco suite - amazing space with great views to mountains.

The quality and comfort of the room was beyond our expectations. Everything you need for a chilled stay is there - no TV, after initial panic, I loved that. WIFI in room for Netflix etc.

The Casa is beautiful however Brennan and Andrew are the stars of Casa 44. They are so friendly and supportive. Breakfast was lovely. Example - I'd mentioned I liked salmorejo (try it!). I was kindly served it every morning- I do love it! - but presentation was different every morning.

We were looking for a place to get away from it all and just relax. And Casa 44 was the perfect place to relax and regain our energy. The hosts Brennon and Andrew were perfect hosts, and ensured that all our expectations were exceeded. Relaxing atmosphere, beautiful surroundings and fantastic feast of a breakfast. One of the best Bed and Breakfasts that we have ever been in.

Hello, if you are reading this review, and other reviews of course, And! You are not Andrew or Brennan, I can only assume that you are considering visiting Alhaurin El Grande and Casa 44, so I’ll tell you a little something about it……
Alhaurin El Grande is a bustling Spanish town, with a mix of the old and new, in a great location for travelling to and from Malaga airport and the costal resorts of the Costa Del Sol.
In one of the quaint Spanish streets, you will find Casa 44, an Andalusian townhouse, home to a stunning boutique B&B, and hosted by two of the most graceful, charming, life loving, irresistible people that you will ever meet.
To say that our experience here was unique is an understatement. I am very tempted to share everything special about Casa 44 and Andrew and Brennan with you, however, I won’t because the element of surprise adds to the exceptional experience. And it’s also safe to say that elements of our stay were definitely geared around our specific needs….
We follow a specific diet and are our food choices on holiday are normally very limited. Not here though, every morning we would take a seat at the beautifully laid out breakfast table to be presented with a plethora of tantalising and delicious offerings, created just for us, and in abundance too!
And, although there are many restaurants a short walk from Casa 44, and finding the right place to eat can be difficult for anyone new to the town, there was no need to even think about it, Andrew and Brennan had it all in hand and ensured that we had a seat at some of the best tables in town, including Santiago’s Kitchen and SamSam.
Without boring you with the detail, I wasn’t very well on the day we arrived, lets just blame the long day and airport food. Normally, you would find yourself wandering the streets looking for a pharmacy, but this was not necessary, Brennan hastily alleviated my nausea with a mix of natural remedies, and I never looked back for the rest of my stay.
I really could go on, but I won’t, you need to visit and experience it for yourself.
Without doubt, the Casa is beautiful, the beds just right and the food fabulous, but it’s the hosts that will keep you coming back, because when you find something that is truly unique, you will struggle to find anything that comes close anywhere else

Casa 44 - Hermosa Lugar!!!!!

On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Andrew and Brennan who made us feel instantly at home. We felt so relaxed in their company, like old friends who they had not seen in a while.

They both have a remarkable in depth knowledge of the surrounding area and the amazing places to eat and visit.

Nothing is too much trouble for them - from a guided tour of the old town to arranging days out, making reservations at restaurants prior to arrival and even introducing us to the amazing Lana at Skye Blue House where I had not 1 but 2 absolutely superior 'zen like' massages.

The breakfast is truly a culinary experience in itself. They have great knowledge of all the local produce that they serve (Mike was like a child in a sweet shop)!!!!

The whole casa is immaculate and a credit to both Andrew and Brennan. They both go above and beyond to ensure your stay is true perfection.

Andrew and Brennan are the ultimate perfect gentlemen and we miss them both (and Alhaurin el Grande) already. We can't wait to revisit this 5* establishment as soon as possible. xx

Everything about Casa 44 is just superb. From the pre arrival information, the fantastically warm welcome, the tastefully and beautifully presented room, and the 'wow' factor view from the terrace everything was perfect.
Whether you want to use Casa 44 as a base to visit Andalucía or just as a relaxing break it fits the bill perfectly and you will leave feeling rejuvenated.
Andrew and Brennan are the epitome of perfect hosts where nothing is too much trouble - from making restaurant reservations to booking our pre-departure Covid testing.
A return visit is a must!

My friend and I visited this absolute treasure trove of a place in March. The welcome was warm and genuine and the stay unforgettable. The attention to detail is exquisite and you immediately feel relaxed in luxurious surroundings. Breakfasts are a delight with a range of beautifully cooked or continental offerings, locally sourced and presented to perfection by our hosts Brennan and Andrew. If you get a recommendation for a restaurant, take it, we were taken to the local Siantago's Kitchen which also was a feast for the senses. I can't recommend this place highly enough. I could have sat on the terrace and drank gin and ate olives taking in the spectacular view from Casa 44 for ever. Thank you both for the perfect stay!

First class accommodation, excellent hosts and five star food. Well situated for the airport, Marbella and other costal resorts but also in a beautiful inland location with mountain views. Andrew and Brennan have extensive knowledge of the local festivals and places to visit in the surrounding area to make sure you make the most of your visit. We have been back a number of times and you will want to too.
