RESTAURANTE LA CABAÑA DE ALARCÓN.

We had dinner here twice during our stay in Alarcon, end of April 2022. One time we took the daily menu, the other we eat “a la carte”. All the dishes were very taste and well served. Price/quality wise this is a very good restaurant! The interior is cozy and gives a beautiful view on the valley! Very friendly staff!

Amazing food and great value, excellent staff that know their stuff. Great experience overall. Recommend the menu del día.

This is a delightful, welcoming restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, superb service, and some of the finest food you will ever enjoy. The menu is varied, every dish we ordered (and we ordered plenty) was beyond delicious, and the servers are friendly and helpful. I suggest you make your reservation well in advance — this place was packed solid for lunch on a weekday.

In a league of their own!
The Gorgonzola croquettes were mouthwatering and they'd melt in your mouth.
The real winner was the lamb shank (Cordero Asado) which was an exceptionally tasty meat with meat falling right off a clean bone.
To top it off a great view of the surrounding hills with several sightings of majestic eagle-like avians.
Generous portions, honest prices, and super friendly and welcoming personnel made our stay in this lovely town very special.
Worth a detour (or a trip on purpose!)

Everything about this establishment is first class. It is most modest from outside, but don't be put off, it holds a wonder of gastronomic surprises. Upon entering ,you are met by a charming matre de, assigned a table and the eating experience commences.
The waiter was helpful, attentive and friendly .2 glasses of wine accompanied the the menu del dia, the the food started to flow, 1 course, then manchego and Palma ham( I must add, superior quality), then 2 hot entre meses, then the main course. I chose chicken ( the taste of which I had never experienced) cooked to a local recipe. Lisa chose the fish option and thoroughly enjoyed it. We left the choice of desert to the waiters recommendation, a good move, honestly one of the nicest we have experienced, then a complimentary shot and the nicest suprise you could expect after a superb meal and eating experience, the check '62 Euros '

Wow! So good! Raul (owner) was a wonderful host. He made us feel welcome from the very start. They had really good local foods and wine. It was a 5 course meal for 25€ including wine. We are at night but I'm sure the view from the windows was amazing. Can't recommend it more.

A great gastronomic experience. From the moment you enter and are welcomed by the charming matre de, assigned a waiter and set down, the experience commences, first marinaded peppers and bread, then a plate laden with superior manchego and Palma ham, then 2 local hot entre messes dishes. The main course, I chose chicken, my wife chose the fish option, both cooked to a local recipes. The desert we left to the recommendation of the waiter, alway a good move , one of the nicest we have ever experienced. The great surprise at the end was the bill, 62 Euros (30/04/23).
If we lived nearer, it would be our local eatery.

Lovely place. Nice decor, friendly service and interesting dishes. Eric Clapton. 3 starters 2 desserts, drinks and bread and we were full. The couple at the next table couldn't manage their main courses . We had to leave space for the parador breakfast next day. Recommended.

This was some of the best food we have eaten in Spain. The food was a perfect example of this region of the country. This menu was a new experience, from the appetizers to the deserts. If one had only eaten in the metropolitan cities and the coastal regions of Spain, this was a real treat. The proprietor was very delightful and made our dining experience more interesting. The decor was interesting, with different lamp designs on various tables, very eclectic. The view from the windows was magnificent of the countryside. This small castle town has many gems beginning with the castle. The La Cabana de Alarcon is one of its brightest stones.

An amazing dinner reasonably priced! Outstanding service in a fashionable decorated restaurant. We enjoyed every minute there and will be back for lunch before we leave the town.

Impresionante comida en un sitio tranquilo, agradable y con un servicio de diez. La comida estaba riquísima, el ambiente era estupendo. Alarcón es precioso y nos escapamos allí de vez en cuando, y este restaurante se ha convertido en referencia para comer allí. Y respecto a la relación calidad - precio... Muy buena. Recomendable de verdad.

Espectaculares en todo, en instalaciones en trato y en calidad de producto. Carta corta y de mucha calidad. Os recomiendo el menú concertado, 26 euros x pax. Muy buen precio, muchísima calidad y con platos típicos.... Lo único que me pareció justito (no en cantidad, si en calidad) fue el vino, un joven del año que no estaba malo, para nada.... Pero no acompañaba los platos del todo en mi humilde opinión. Volveré,. SITIO EXCELENTE.
