Ca l'Ignasi - Casa de Menjars

It was worth every penny to travel from Barcelona to visit this cozy restaurant with a beautiful interior design and superb staff. Always with a sweet smile on their faces, the owners took care of every detail, from the warm welcome to the precise tempo and the right suggestions with food and especially wine (we took the Lo Cometa D.O. Terra Alta red wine which we did not regret!). Rice and fideua were beyond compare. Rice with squid and sausage and fideua with local black trumpet mushroom were really matchless. Without fear of sounding bombastic, this place is a must.

This was the best meal I've had in the north eastern Spain. We sat outside at one of their wooden bench tables and had a pretty view. The side of their building had pretty fall leaves and grape vines with some fresh grapes covering the entire wall.

This was a great restaurant to stop by on the way to LlaFranc from Rupit. Parking was easy and free in their small parking lot around the corner. Our hiking guide hung out with us for a little bit and he helped us order our meal since the menu was in Catalan.

We started off with green olives and local mushrooms (bolet) with tomatoes for appetizers. The mushroom dish was one of the best dishes I've ever had in my life. It was wonderful soaking up the sauce with the bread slices.

For entrees I had the calamari rice dish (arròs a l'estil de Cabrera amb calamars de llauna) and my partner had the steak dish (I think it's called filet de vaca de la Vall de Bianya a la llosa). The calamari rice dish could be for two people if you have an appetizer. It was served on a huge hot shallow frying pan. The beef was also served still rare on a sizzling hot stone with vegetables.

I wish we had room to try their desserts and I'm sad I didn't get to try them! This restaurant is a must visit if you're in the area.

Delicious food served in generous portions. The service, the space and the music make it even more wonderful.

Spectacular

Un sitio encantador con decoración de buen gusto y la comida de gran calidad, sobre todo la carne espectacular, se desace en la boca. Son únicos de la zona con ganas de trabajar y nos aceptaron un domingo fuera de horario comidas. Se agradece mucho este detalle. Con ganas de volver y experimentar nuevos artes de vuestra cocina.

Una atenció inmillorable ens ha fet sentir com a casa des del primer moment. El menjar fabulós i els plats cuidats al detall. Local apte per mascotes si es porten correctament. 100% recomanable.

Un lloc tranquil i molt acollidor. Ens va agradar molt tot. La coca de verdures estava espectacular. L'Ignasi ens va atendre de primera.

Ja hem vingut 2 vegades i sempre hem sortit encantats, el lloc es precios, el tracte molt amable i el menjar bonissim. Els preus no son barats pero penso que esta totalment justificat tenint en compte l’alta qualitat de tots els ingredients i l’elaboracio. L’estofat de vedella i la coca de verdures son simplement espectaculars!! Tornarem segur!!

Avui aprofitant que estàvem per terres osonenques, hem visitat aquest restaurant que feia temps que volíem provar.
Un garrinet excel·lent, un estofat brutal, entre altres coses.
Com a crítica totalment personal, podríem dir que trobo algun preu una mica elevat, entenc que el restaurador té el coneixement dels costos però en alguns casos o trobo asséssiu, no puntuaré pas malament, ja que lo de més ha sigut molt bo.

Un restaurante magnífico en un pequeño pueblo de montaña, Cantonigros.
La comida es de km 0, proximidad total fresco del dia y cocinado con arte e imaginación.
El local es una masia reformada pero manteniendo el encanto, salones interiores y exteriores, chimenea y jardin.
El cocinero l'Isidre y su señora son un encanto.
