Fancornio Rural

We had a fantastic stay. The property was lovely inside and out. Our dog Thor loved relaxing in the sun in the garden. Juan and Terri gave us great suggestions on where to eat, travel, beaches and festivals. Their suggestions turned out to be very positive experiences. We loved our stay and will return. Thank you for everything!

My husband and I stayed at Fancornio Rural for 10 nights this fall. This is my absolute favorite place to stay on vacation. You are in a beautiful location of rolling hills and a short drive to the ocean.
We had great communication with our hosts, Juan and Terri prior to our visit and during to accommodate any needs. Juan and Terri are very special human beings who made every moment of this trip warm, friendly and inviting. They will give you all the space you need to unwind and relax while also being available for any assistance required.
The location of their beautiful property will put you close to everything you would want to do in Asturias, Spain and the list of things to do is incredible! If I spent a year in Asturias, I would not be able to do everything I wanted to do.  They made some wonderful suggestions of places to eat, where we could purchase any necessities and what sights are must-sees.
The beauty of the property was amazing. It reminded me of rolling hills in Ireland, with ranches and farms connecting the villages. The home we stayed in was beautiful with everything we needed. There was a good deal of history explained on the property, the renovation and details made our stay more interesting. The farm-animals are there for your enjoyment and we did have fun watching and feeding them. I loved the old cowbells you would hear as the cows roamed freely around the hills. It was subtle and charming. Every view from each window is breathtaking.  The fresh air helps you sleep sound at night, the property is very quiet and the shutters will block out all light until you are ready to wake up. I loved opening the windows to the green hills every morning and having a cool breeze rush in.
I will have happy dreams of Fancornio Rural and I will make sure that we come back to visit.

Lovely place out in the countryside to slow down and rest. The hosts are super helpful providing information about local activities. A variety of lovely beaches and charming towns are very close by. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 14 days.

Great place in lush green Asturias close to sea and mountain. Terri and Juan are wonderful hosts, helpful and kind and very friendly. The sounds you hear are of nature, farmyard animals, birds and the breeze. Very highly recommended.

If you’d like something different for a holiday then this is for you! Beautiful scenery, quiet and relaxing, great hosts, a huge area to explore with the best of Asturian cuisine. Unspoiled beaches, super tapas and no crowds of noise! The real Spain, friendly and a side of Spain you won’t have ever seen before.

The hosts Terri and Juan made us really welcome and no faulting the accommodation.
The Asturian Countryside is breathtaking and we were very close to beaches and seaside towns and villages. Loads to do for all ages, we especially enjoyed all the hiking and trying out the local food which I hasten to add is absolutely delicious.
Highly recommendable and would definitely repeat, especially as I fell in love with one of the various animals at Fancornio.

Centrally located between the 3 major cities of Asturias and 6 kilometers from coastal beaches and yet situated in the countryside, Fancornio Rural are the finest rural apartments in Spain that I have visited. Two large and accomodating homes with modern kitchens in asturian styled interiors, they each also have excellent outdoor spaces. The owners are marvelous and helpful hosts.

Great location, within easy driving distance of loads of beaches and major towns. The hosts know the area really well and have great recommendations. Very laid back and cozy atmosphere.

It is a very nice, original and clean place to stay, the owners are very friendly and helpful! The surrounding area invites to excursions. We really enjoyed our time there and relaxed. It is worth a trip, clear recommendation!

Wonderful place. Close to the beaches near to the town. Lots to see and do. Terry and juan who live next door are fantastic nothing is too much trouble for them. Lots and lots of infoTerry is able to furnish you with telephone numbers directions really really helpful and so welcoming recommend it to anybody

Fancornio has been part of my life for the past six years. I spend up to three weeks a year in Asturias and always choose this beautiful place as my base. The owners are moŕe than froendly. I would recommend it to anyone

Very spacious comfortable houses, ideal for families, especially with dogs! Beautiful surrounding area, with plenty to see and do!

Casa bonita y práctica, cerca de todos los puntos de interés en Asturias. La atención de sus propietarios estupenda, muy amables y dispuestos a ayudarnos con cualquier cosa. Además admiten perro y eso para nosotros es muy importante. Hemos pasado una semana fantástica en familia. Recomendable!!!

Lugar acogedor en una zona muy tranquila. A 20-25 minutos de las playas. El dueño muy atento a todas las necesidades de los huéspedes. Hay una zona techada enorme en la que se puede hacer vida,cenar y comer fuera y un puntazo a la barbacoa de gas que hay fuera,que le da mucha vidilla para hacer las comidas a la barbacoa. Tiene Wifi para trabajar bien. El único pequeño pero que le puedo poner es que le falta un lavavajillas, de lo demás tiene de todo

Vacaciones geniales! La casa de Fancornio es grande y funcional. Muy bien situada cerca de las playas y de las ciudades asturianas. También se pueden hacer rutas à pie desde la casa. Juan y Terri son muy amables y serviciales. Volveremos!

Un lugar muy bonito y muy cerca tanto de espacios naturales cómo de ciudades asturianas importantes, Avilés y Gijón. Puedes disfrutar de la tranquilidad y también tienes cerca el bullicio, sí lo deseas.
La casa cuenta con jardín, y con algunos animales que harán las delicias de pequeños y grandes.
Los propietarios son muy agradables, y te informarán de cualquier plan que desees hacer durante tu estancia.

Que decir de esta casa rural, en primer lugar la maravillosa familia que es la dueña de las instalaciones, son estupendos, campechanos y súper amables. Fui con mi familia para despedir el año.
Siempre repetimos con ellos, todo limpio, súper ordenado y siempre tienen el detalle en navidades de ponernos adornos navideños y luces.
Tuvieron la amabilidad hasta de ponernos una minicama elástica para mí peque de dos añines y además de una trona.
Estamos súper contentos con ellos y como otros años repetiremos sin dudarlo.
Súper recomendable al 100% si buscáis también en verano no sólo en navidades ya que cuenta con un paisaje y una tranquilidad para desconectar estupenda.

Todavía no hemos llegado a casa y ya echamos de menos la casa de fancornio. La zona del valle es mágica. Y los propietarios Juan y Terri son encantadores,te hacen sentir como en casa.
Además de una recomendaciones extraordinarias y una atención 10.
Si tenemos la oportunidad, volveremos sin duda.
