Gran Hotel Balneario de Puente Viesgo

I've seen my fair share of hotels over the years, and let me tell you, not all of them are created equal. But every once in a while, I come across a real gem - a hotel that's more than just a place to sleep, but an experience in its own right.

From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for something special. The lobby was tastefully decorated with local art and crafts, and the staff greeted me with warm smiles and a genuine desire to make my stay as comfortable as possible.

The room itself was a humble revelation. Sure, it had all the amenities you'd expect from a high-end hotel - plush bedding, a well-stocked minibar, a medium-sized TV - but it was also filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The bathroom was stocked with high-quality toiletries and the windows offered stunning views of the surrounding area.

But what really set this hotel apart was the food. As a self proclaimed chef and food connoisseur, I'm always on the lookout for memorable dining experiences, and this hotel did not disappoint. The menu was a thoughtful and inventive mix of local and international flavors, and every dish was executed with skill and care. Whether I was digging into a hearty bowl of soup, savoring a perfectly cooked steak, or indulging in a decadent dessert, I was blown away by the quality and creativity of the cuisine.

Of course, this particular hotel is more than just its rooms and restaurant. They also offered a range of amenities that made my stay even more enjoyable - from the well-appointed fitness center to the beautiful pool and spa. And if I needed anything, the staff was always there to help.

All in all, I can say without hesitation that this is one of the best hotels I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. It's a true oasis in the heart of Puente Viesgo, and I can't wait to go back.

GORGEOUS and EXCELLENT in everything. Location and surroundings ,hotel facilites, rooms , food and staff. I shall recommend It over and over again.

This place is amazing for a remote working location. The internet is good and it's fantastic to be able to spend a few hours in the Templo de Agua after a hard days work :) The staff are all very friendly and helpful also. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back.

I can only comment on the restaurant, which I found exceptional. Attentive and polite service, which shows some training. The menu has adequate variety and the preparation and presentation is superior in quality and quantity. Pleasant views if you're fortunate to be near a window. Generally quiet, genteel. Not especially a place that I think would be popular with kids. More for adults who prefer a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Quite clean.

A wonderful visit to the spa! Our visit was a reward to ourselves, a little TLC for the family (all adults). The circuit was exactly what we needed. Note the time of day was a critical choice as it got crowded just as we were leaving. Pro TIP: schedule your visit to the SPA @ spanish lunch-time so you'll have the place all to yourselves. Afterward you can go for a stroll along the greenway or have a nice meal nearby. Plus a visit to the caves completes a wonderful weekend in Puente Viesgo.

One of the best hotel spars in Europe. I highly recommend it. The place is set against the river Pas, the mountain village is beautifully located against a small i based valley. Great place you must come to experience it for yourself

It's settled in a lovely environment surrounded by trees and a enchanting village. We stayed for 2 hours and a half in the "Temple of Water" which consists of a water springs complex with several features such as a finnish sauna, hot springs, and a pool with jets for massages. I would highly recommend this place for a relaxing experience.

Very good hotel, not new but decent, very clean, great views, the food is very good. I would advice to change the pilows, all 5 members of my family said are not good, at least give few options. One more thing is the electric car charge, 2021 should be must have for every good hotel. The spa is amazing, great hot outdoor pool and inside same very good.

Excellent service at reception, bar, and spa. Reformed rooms are quite big. Exterior pool has a lot of space for having sunbaths. If you want to make use of any spa service, please ask for a room in the same building where spa is located.

Nice hotel in a beautiful rural place. Hotel itself and service really are 5 stars level. We enjoyed every minute of our 1 night stay. Thermal springs add the luxury feelings.

I was at the Spa called "Temple of Water" in Gran Hotel of Puente Viesgo. There are several features in this place: one main pool with bubbles and water jets, an exterior pool where you can enjoy some nice views, different saunas and also hot benchs and a relaxation room. I enjoyed staying at this Spa and I recomend it if you want to have a good and relaxing experience for two and a half hours.

One of the best churros with chocolate I ever tried. The location is spectacular, with 4 beautiful Neanderthal caves.
