Casa Rural Mas Del Mar

Literally can not understand why everyone doesn’t give this place 5 stars. Here is my reasoning.

Yes it’s off the beaten track, but that’s a good thing you want somewhere unique different to stay in right.

Yes it’s a little rustic, but it’s very old building and I think considering its age it’s actually kept really well and doesn’t feel tired.

The girl who was there looking after the place was super friendly and went above and beyond to help us, especially as we had an awkward vehicle to park. She also helped recommend where to go for food and where to go from this place for our following night on our road trip.

The breakfast was amazing, fresh and kept us going most of the day. The orange juice was fresh and there were lots of choices on meats and cheeses, breads etc.

The room was comfortable, spacious and warm.

The grounds are big and the swimming pool area looked great, although it was a bit cold the time of year we were here.

They were also dog friendly and our dog loved chilling in the garden and walking down to the beach which is a stones throw.

All in all, we had nothing bad to say about this place, so much so we are already planning our next trip back…

Excellent stay in Sant Pere Pescador. It's unfortunate the bad reviews of this place are from guest who failed to do proper research into the accomodation and the area. This is a 17th century building set on farmland and the owners have made improvements to add some modern comforts such as Satiliite Television, WiFi and Aircon ( I was lucky enough to have this in my room but this is extremely rare for the area and for an old house). If you want to stay in a historical building, with charm, beautiful grounds, close to the beach and beach bars and friendly and accommodating staff then definitely stay here. It's such a unique stay that will help you unwind, relax and switch off from your busy life. My room was clean, so were the common areas, breakfast was delicious (may be limited in options but reminder this is a 3.5 star accomodation) and the pool was cleaned every morning. If there was a problem the staff would help even if they didn't know English and I didn't know much Spanish. I would definitely recommend this place and will book this place again when staying in Sant Pere Pescador. I had the best time here and can't wait to stay again.

A wonderful place located near the sea. Very nice staff and a very competent manager. Very good and quite varied breakfast. And perhaps one of the most important advantages of the location: the puppies are here at home! I warmly recommend Casa Rural Mas Del Mar

I stayed there for two nights with 4 friends. The house is old and charming and the decoration is stunning. The location couldn’t be better. It’s just next to the beach. The stuff is nice and caring. Perfect for a relaxing weekend away of the city :)

We loved waking up to the sunrise, with stunning views to the Natural Park and the sea. The room was big, clean and warm when we arrived.
The staff did not speak Spanish but he was very nice and helping.

The breakfast was nice enough, and could have been amazing with only 3 super easy things to improve: natural orange juice (it was from the bottle), nice olive oil, specially when staying in an area where it’s suuuper easy to find (it was non tasty, light color...) and a choice of a vegetal drink/milk.

Amazing location. If you expect euro standard hotel- it is not that. But if you need the cozy place, next to the beach, calm and privat, with not many people- it is great. Very old house (you can not built nothing new here, it is a national reserve). That's why it is expensive, but location worth it.
The best place I have been stayed ever with dogs (grass, therase, very calm and the pet friendly beach). Will come back.

Lovely setting. Beautiful old house.. well set up inside. Could do with more shade options on the terrace ( we were at a wedding party and suffered a bit from the baking sun..) but a great sound system, if needed. As a group, it was perfect for us. Thank you!!

Amazing place, landscape and the rooms.
As a suggestion maybe some AC, it was really hot.

Visited Mas del Mar for a day and discovered it to be a magical place. The winds that sweep in from the sea are cleansing and the house has a peaceful atmosphere ideal for relaxing and recharging.

Great hotel close to the beach. Nice pool.

Es la segunda vez que lo visitamos, muy satisfechos de los 3 dias de estancia. Muy muy recomendable, una gran y preciosa casa rural, recibimos un trato cordial y exquisito, una habitación fantástica, WiFi a full, una ubicación excepcional y un entorno natural único, buen desayuno, se respira tranquilidad y se puede disfrutar de buenos paseos a orillas del rio, la playa y de unas salidas y puestas de sol al mar Mediterráneo y a los Pirineos brutales. Uno se lleva una buena carga de enegia positiva y auténticas esencias mediterráneas.

Wyjatkowe miejsce. Apartament na ostatnim pietrze cudny. Z wanny można oglądać zachód słońca a z drugiej strony bajeczny widok na morze i wschód słońca. Wygodne i duże łóżko. Śniadanie dosyć skromne ale smaczne. Domowa atmosfera

Durch Zufall auf Mas del Mar aufmerksam geworden. Liegt völlig allein in einem Naturschutzgebiet. Abgeschieden und ruhig, aber wenn man Unterhaltung braucht ist man in jeweils 15 min in L‘Escala oder Empuriabrava.
Der Service ist einfach Top! Kein Wunsch bleibt unerfüllt, keine Frage unbeantwortet! Jonas (der Hotelmanager) macht hier echt nen guten Job! Hat ein tolles Team im Hintergrund.
Zu Fuß ist man in ca5 min am Strand, der ziemlich leer war. Sand und Wasser top!
Zusätzlich ist noch ein Pool verfügbar, der morgens zum frühschwimmen einlädt!
Das Zimmer hatte eine riesige Terrasse mit einem unglaublichen Ausblick!
In der Nähe ein super Kitespot!
Fazit: immer wieder gerne! Sehr zu empfehlen wenn es jemand ruhiger mag!

Also das ist eine echte Entdeckung . Sind vollends begeistert. Das beste: Blick aufs Meer, zu Fuß zum Strand , der völlig leer ist weil ein Naturschutzgebiet dahinter liegt. Wenig Tourismus, feiner Sandstrand. Perfekt.
Frühstück auch echt ok!

Preciosa casa rural. Hemos reservado la Suite Superior, recomiendo esa habitación en absoluto! La vista desde allí es espectacular, habitación perfecta para ver el amanecer. El dueño ha sido muy amable,somos veganas y nos organizó el desayuno vegano. Vamos a repetir seguramente en primavera!

Molt be tot!!! RECOMANABLE trucar abans i reservar a través seu. T’ aconsellen la millor habitació, en el nostre cas, una a peu de jardí, que ens va anar molt be per poder sortir fora a la nit o pel mati… Hi hem estat molt amples i be. Baby friendly & pet friendly. Ideal!!! Gracies!

Fantástica ubicación! Perfecto para descansar. Cercana al parque natural dels aiguamolls de l'emporda, a la playa y separada del bullicio del pueblo si quieres tranquilidad, todo y que está a un paseo desde la masía.
Puedes venir con tu perrito si les avisas.🤗🤗
Arreglada y decorada con mucho cariño.
El apartamento muy acogedor nada más entrar.
A lo mejor falta algún detalle pero se desestima por la ubicación y la paz.
Seguro que volvemos!!!!
