If you have the chance, please eat here! We were in disbelief the whole meal at how amazing the flavors were. The staff were so nice and it was fun to say hi to the chef before eating. The portions are generous so pace yourself. Well priced for a Michelin star. Also - I have celiac and the kitchen made it easy for me to enjoy my meal. Amazing experience and our best meal by far on our Basque/Asturias/Rioja trip!

I couldn't hope for a better dining experience. My girlfriend and I had the tasting menu. A beautiful building with a view of several houses on the hillside - one of which had two horses lying in the grass. There's food - and there's this place. I've never found a place where I can enjoy a perfectly cooked - delicate fish, followed by a traditional Asturiana Fabada (bean stew) that would make the Chef who cooked it's grandmother proud. The burnt rice pudding with a glass like top of caramelized sugar was perfect. There's nothing I would change or have different.

Great service. The wine selection is good. The bean was tasty but sadly I was too full to finish it.

This restaurant is outstanding!!! There is nothing bad! It is a very good and sophisticated restaurant, without losing the homemade food flavours! The fabada is a must try! The view is amazing, the staff is really atentive and caring! Just Loved it!

Delicious food and fantastic service. The 1882 menu never disappoints. As well as the usual classics (croqueta de compongo, fabada de Prendes and the astonishing crema de arroz con leche requemada), it’s really worth mentioning the cigalas, cochinillo and col. Absolutely superb mixture of flavours. Definitely worth a detour if you are in Asturias.

Incredible. That's all I can say. Everything you read about this restaurant is true. Besides the staff being the most professional and most courteous, the food is the highest quality that the Asturias region has to offer. It's a bit away from Gijon city central but it's worth the drive.

This restaurant is at another level. Chef comes out to get your order to make sure you are getting what you want. The food is transcendental. Try the Fabada and arros con leche.

Many say Casa Gerardo (Michelin chef Marcos Moran) serves the best fabada and arroz con leche in Asturias. I can confirm that and the menu de degustacion here is possibly the best I've ever tasted. Don't miss.

Volvemos a comer su menú degustación y nos volvió a encantar por su calidad de producto, elaboración y perfecto servicio. Si vienes a Asturias merece la pena comer en este tradicional Rte. con estrella michelín y tres soles.

Homenaje gastronómico en Prendes. Nosotros optamos por el menú degustación intermedio y quedamos más que satisfechos. En todos los menús se puede degustar la fabada y el arroz con leche que a mi parecer son los imprescindibles. Ojo también a la carta de vino con muchas referencias a muy buen precio. Para repetir.

Casa Gerardo es un conocido y buen restaurante, a pie de carretera, en las postrimerías de El Cabo, en Prendes.

Tienen tres menús degustación.
Nosotros solemos preferir comer a la carta y en Casa Gerardo no fue una excepción.
La cuenta fue más abultada porque quisimos comer unas angulas.
El chef en persona nos dijo que eran de la zona.
No puedo estar seguro y a uno solo le queda creerlo (por qué no), pero ya sabemos que de un tiempo a esta parte, el 99% de las angulas que se comercializan en España vienen de Francia.

Todo nos gustó bastante, sólo la fabada, por las altas expectativas que traíamos, no cumplió con lo esperado (a pesar de ser buena, no era excepcional, como esperábamos).

Buena y profesional atención.
Postres excelentes y carta de vinos sorprendente por algunas referencias poco conocidas pero excelentes (y no hablo de ningún vino de los que muestro en las fotos o el de la cuenta, sino de otro que nos llevamos para casa).

Comimos el menú clásico y de cantidad es mas que suficiente, de hecho acabamos muy llenos. Los snacks, la fabada y el postre son los fuertes del menú y los que recomiendo si se elige comer de carta. El entrante de verduras estaba equilibrado y el pescado estaban bien, pero en mi opinión le faltaba sabor.

Tremenda explosión de sabor y que gran textura tenían todos los platos, una experiencia más que recomendada. Solo hubo una cosa mejor que la comida. El trato. Excepcional relación calidad -precio

No se tiene una estrella Michelin por suerte. Hemos probado el menú clásico y su relación calidad precio es inmejorable. El pescado estaba sublime.

Increíble lugar, se preocupan por que tengas una experiencia más que agradable, y lo logran. La cantidad de comida más que correcta. Muy recomendables los entrantes variados, fabada de alta calidad y compango exquisito. El arroz con leche es espectacular. Las croquetas de compango. Comimos 2.

Comida y servicio excelentes. 90 euros por persona sin vino. El cochinillo es lo más flojo. La fabada, las albóndigas y el Pitu son platos muy recomendables.

Increible. La verdad que ya van un par de visitas parando alli de camino por el norte y siempre genial, se preocupan mucho del cliente y comes de lujo tranquilo y con buenas vistas.

Conocimos este restaurante porque envían la fabada a domicilo y nos decidimos ir a probarlo en persona. El restaurante es increible, con mucha atención por el detalle y con comida espectacular. La fabada buenísima, también el tomate y entrantes. De postre el arroz con leche hay que pedirlo obligatoriamente. Conviene reservar con mucha antelación. Muy muy recomendable, volveremos seguro!
