Mas Palou

We got married at Mas Palou in September 2023 and we couldn't have found a more perfect place for our wedding! Maria and her family are such lovely and kind people who really helped making our weekend so special. During the planning process Maria was extremely helpful, helping us with recommendations for vendors etc. Mas Palou is truly a magical place, all our guests mentioned how it felt like a fairytale. Their wines were also a big hit amongst our guests and us! We still have some wine and olive oil at home, which we are saving for special moments! We hope to return to Mas Palou (and their incredible breakfast) soon!

Our wedding at Mas Palou on the 22nd of September 2023 was an experience we can’t really explain . The ambiance struck the perfect chord between homely intimacy and professional elegance. Celebrating with our nearest and dearest in such a splendid environment felt like a dream come true.

Many guests commented on feeling as if they were in a movie, and we couldn't agree more. The setting, the decor, and every tiny detail seemed straight out of a romantic film. Maria, our main point of contact, deserves special mention. Her tireless dedication and commitment ensured that our journey from planning to execution was seamless. Her warmth and expertise instilled so much confidence that my partner was convinced about the venue after just our first meeting(and he would usually spend 6 weeks doing research before even purchasing a vacuum cleaner)!

Every staff member we encountered was a paragon of professionalism. From our arrival to our farewell breakfast (which was exquisite, by the way), every moment was marked by their attentive care. An unexpected hiccup arose with our lighting very last minute, but Maria jumped into action immediately, ensuring everything worked out perfectly.

It's not just about the venue or the service, it's the feeling of security and happiness that's priceless. The value we received far surpassed the expense, and even if we had won the Eurojackpot, we wouldn't change a single thing about our special day.

For those on the hunt for a wedding venue that blends professional service with an intimate and homely vibe, we wholeheartedly recommend Mas Palou.

Mas Palou is a dream!! We had such a wonderful stay while we were visiting Spain in May. Maria is extremely kind and helpful! She gave us so many recommendations of things to do in the area. We stayed in the 1-bedroom apartment and it was super comfortable, with everything you need! The winery and vineyard are so lovely and peaceful, its the perfect place to escape and relax with a book and glass of wine. Gracias Maria! we can't wait to come back!

We celebrated our wedding at Mas Palou this July, and everything was a dream. The setting, the grounds, the service, and the amazing breakfast and swim at the pool the next day created such a wonderful atmosphere for our special day. Moltes, moltes gràcies per tot 🫶🫶🫶

You can spend a weekend (or more) in this wonderful place, but you can also reserve a large room for a celebration with all service included. The environment is really awesome and the resort includes, among other beauties, a breathtaking XVII Century chapell. Won't regret a visit to Mas Palou!

We celebrated our wedding here and it was a dream! The location is beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable and Maria was super helpful during the whole stay. Would definitely recommend this place to others!

We did a company retreat at Mas Palou and it was an amazing experience. Everyone at Mas Palou is very friendly and receptive. The food is amaaaaazing. All the rooms are very cozy and the location provide a nice escape from the city at the same time carries a lot of history.

For a team retreat it was great to escape for a few days, get everyone together and bond people. There's a conference room that provides everything you need.

We got married at Mas Palou in June 2022 and cannot recommend it highly enough! We had originally planned our wedding for May 2020 but were forced to reschedule multiple times during the pandemic. Maria and her family went above and beyond, from helping us find new dates to suggesting activities, restaurants and accommodations around Mas Palou for our wedding guests. The family organized and catered our rehearsal dinner and breakfast before the wedding, which were both delicious and beautiful. The venue has the most authentic feel to it - it is refined but rustic, charming and historic. The location was perfect; just remote enough to be relaxing and quiet but only a short drive from Sitges or Barcelona. I would recommend Mas Palou to anyone looking for an authentic Spanish getaway or planning a event in the area! I wouldn't change a thing about our experience and definitely plan to return next time we are in Spain.

Located only forty minutes outside of Barcelona, Mas Palou is an oasis outside of the bustling city. The estate has multiple pools, gardens, vineyard views, hammocks, a chapel on the property and the most welcoming hosts!

It was my second visit to Mas Palou and it's better than ever!

We came in the early afternoon for our stay. My partner and I enjoyed the sunset views overlooking the vines while playing with Pisca, the genius German Shepard mix. We stayed at Casa San Jaume. There's a cozy living room, kitchen with everything you need, and views overlooking the chapel and vines.

In the morning, Maria had strong coffee waiting. We loved our stay there and we can't wait to return.

Mas Palou is right in the middle of wine country in Penedes. It feels like everything that Napa is modeled after. Maria is a sommelier and can give recommendations on where to try the best cava and pet nat in the region.

Mas Palou also makes their own limited supply olive oil and wine. They ship to the US in case you don't want to bring it back yourself.

I have been looking forward to visiting Mas Palou for such a long time, and my stay was beyond even what I could have imagined! Mas Palou is so beautiful, dreamy, comfortable, impeccably well-maintained, and so welcoming. The Valles family has done an extraordinary job taking care of the historic buildings and grounds. The breakfast is a *must* order--everything is locally sourced or homemade and absolutely delicious. The tortilla espanola--made using eggs from the chickens on the grounds--was probably our favorite. The homemade granola, yogurt, fresh seasonal fruits, meats, and cheeses were also unforgettable, though! The olive oil--made using olives grown and harvested by Mas Palou--is the best olive oil I've ever tasted. We purchased 5 bottles to take home to give away as gifts to our loved ones because we enjoyed it so much.

Our group included a 1-year-old, and Mas Palou provided a high chair and travel crib which worked perfectly for our needs. The accommodations themselves--we stayed in Casa Cerda--were beautifully maintained, sparkling clean, spacious, tastefully decorated, and so comfortable. The kitchen is large and well stocked with cooking equipment. The bathrooms and showers are spacious and renovated.

Mas Palou is a labor of love, and it really shows. Maria is a *gem* who truly cares about welcoming her guests and helping them enjoy every minute of their time in Penedes. Mas Palou is her childhood home and she is a sommelier, so she knows all the best places to eat and drink! Our favorite winery to visit was Pedregosa. Highly recommend the wine and delicious tapas! Starting next month (June 2022), Mas Palou will begin producing its own wine from the grapes it grows, so it will be a real treat to get to taste that when it is ready. For international travelers, Maria speaks fluent English--she spent 7 years studying and traveling all around the world--so if you don't speak Spanish or Catalan you can be assured that she will communicate with and guide you extremely competently.

My only regret is not being able to stay longer. Next time I visit Barcelona I think I will skip the city and just come straight to Penedes :) I cannot wait for my next visit and I know I will not hesitate to book another stay at Mas Palou. <3

MAS PALOU is a great house! I have been twice, first time with my couple, for a romantic weekend and it was amazing and a great place to relax. Second, with a group of friends and it was also great, the house had a swimmingpool and an table outside in the garden with bbq. Mas Palou is a great place, the hosts are super friendly and prepare amazing breakfast. The house is surrounded by vineyards which you can see from the bedroom when you wake up. I would totally go back! And it's only 30min away from Barcelona :)

We stayed as a family of 5, including a 1.5 yr old for a week. Mas Palou is the perfect resting spot to enjoy beautiful countryside and relax. Everything about our stay was ideal. Our accommodation was very comfortable with every detail thought of, including baby equipment (chair, cot, etc) and the grounds of the house are beautiful. We hope to return soon! This is such a beautiful place! Anna and Maria make it very special, along with the rest of the family. It is truly a magical destination that was a relaxing place to write and enjoy time with friends. So many spots to read and write and take in the countryside along with the food and wine.

Amazing experience, from head to toe! The treatment was impecable, the installations are super clean, comfy, and full of nice details. The houses are beautiful and the coworking area is perfect to get stuff done. The best part for me, coming from the center of Barcelona, was the tranquility and the nature all around the house. Hearing the birds chirping in the morning and having time to read under the sun was simply healing. The family running this place is really sweet and attentive and the restaurants around the area have delicious local food and wines! Would recommend 100%!

We had an amazing weekend at Mas Palou! The house is lovely, surrounded by an idyllic vineyard landscape. The hosts are charming and attentive. One of the days the weather was not so good, but this was not a problem because the space indoors is very cozy and perfect for a relaxed day.

Everything about Mas Palou was top-notch! Their accommodations are well-maintained, well-designed, clean and has a distinct character to them. The service was impeccable, and Maria went over and beyond to make sure that our stay and experience at Mas Palou were comfortable and enjoyable! On top of that, the family was very hospitable and definitely were the ideal hosts, making our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend a trip to Mas Palou (and of course to a nearby winery/vineyard to get a taste of Corpinnat) :)

We held a small wedding at Mas Palou last week and the whole experience was incredible! Highly recommend this little vineyard to any couples looking to host a small wedding. It is a family run business run by the eldest daughter, Maria. We stumbled upon photos of Mas Palou and we reached out to see if they would accommodate our micro wedding of just 8 people. We set-up a call with Maria to discuss what we wanted and organized a visit to the venue. Within a week, our wedding was all organized. It was the easiest destination wedding to arrange. Maria was so helpful! Following our discussions, she reached out to local suppliers and helped us source the best cake and flowers for our wedding. This was so helpful given that we did not live in Catalonia and could not speak any of the local languages. Maria listened to what we wanted and helped us curate the perfect wedding. She was so patient with us as we changed our minds multiple times.

Our family all stayed on the property and we rented the entire venue for the day of the wedding to ensure maximum privacy. When we arrived, the rooms were immaculately clean and the Mas Palou estate was groomed beautifully. I was so proud to bring my family to this beautiful property.

On the wedding day, the ceremony was held in the beautiful old chapel (all different religious denominations/ceremonies were welcome in the chapel). Owing to the heat, we decided the day before to have the reception in the barrel room. Maria has a keen eye for detail and everything was set-up and arranged perfectly. Her artistic touch made the wedding table and barrel room exquisite on the wedding day.

Maria’s mother, Adelina, prepared the food for the wedding and it was out of this world! After the ceremony, we popped sparkling wine and snacked on cheeses and a charcuterie board. After photos, we sat down to a delicious dinner of Fricandó and ate until we couldn’t eat any more. Each dish was expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. Mas Palou were generous with the portion sizes and accompanying wines. Every little detail was well done -including the local chocolate covered nuts which accompanied the wedding cake.

We opted to do breakfast at the estate following the wedding day as well. My family are still raving about the homemade cheesecake, fresh cherries and egg/potato bake that came with the breakfast. My family loved the pool and the facilities as well as their interactions with the family’s adorable and friendly dog – Pisca. We went for early morning jogs around the vineyards and all had a wonderful holiday overall.

We certainly were not the easiest guests to host but Maria and the Valles family hosted us with such grace and hospitality. I can only thank Mas Palou for all their help in coordinating and orchestrating this family holiday and wedding! I look forward to visiting again in the future!

This such an authentic and amazing place. Me and my wife spent a few days with our families here for our wedding. It was all so wonderful and it's not only the location, the people you will meet, like Maria, is someone who will help make your stay something to remember.

We participated at Mas Palou Artist Residency 2022. We had the pleasure to enjoy two weeks at a really peaceful environment, warm and friendly hosts, near many vineyards, with lots of opportunities for wine tasting. The place is luxurious and comfortable, a fine agricultural venue! Highly recommended!
