Parador de Mérida

The service here is absolutely first rate. The food is excellent. The rooms are quite small but we only booked a standard room and they are well appointed. Welcome water and cake was a lovely touch.

OMG. The food at the restaurant was out of this world. The ham melts in your mouth. The chuletón was so big and juicy. The best I ever had. Their desserts are to die for. I highly recommend it to whoever is a connoisseur of the Spanish cuisine.

Beautiful accommodation, all the staff so lovely warm and friendly especially Nidia Solis at the front desk who made my stay really wonderful, just very helpful. I was here three days and it was perfect.

Our second stay at this historic Parador in the very Historic City of Merida, not disappointed with our choice of Parador which gives friendly service, serves wonderful local dishes and great wines. Can certainly recommend

Location is excellent, just in the middle of town. Mérida is a great place to visit, and lots to offer. As Paradores go, this is not the most impressive, but it has plenty of charm and excellent service. And it still has orders of magnitude more "uniqueness" than any other hotel you've stayed in. Highly recommended.

very good experience here. reception staff very welcoming. good start to our stay lovely place to hang around. we stayed for only one night whilst travelling. will definitely stay here again.

Super Paradore. Spotless rooms balcony over looking quiet garden. Dinner excellent. Good choices. Ordered steak cooked to my liking. Waitress suggested wine good recommendation.

This is a really nice Parador. This about our 12th Parador we have visited. This Parador has a really nice feel. The room was nice. It has it own parking. The hotel itself was very busy and had a great atmosphere - it was carnival and some the singers came into the hotel to perform. Great fun. This Parador is right in the centre of the town so really great place

Great experience as always with Paradores. Excellent food, nice room and nice staff. Personnel is very kind, above usual I would say. The building itself its almost a museum. Being from 1933 does not feel old tho. Only negative parking a bit cramped, and not much places outisde. One of the best Paradores we ve been.

Very comfortable, located centrally in the historic city, secure parking, quiet, welcoming staff and spacious rooms.

Charming Parador, close to all the historic sites in Merida. Lots of underground parking, a fee is charged. Fantastic food and a busy bar.

We stayed for two nights in this hotel and we enjoyed it very very much, the staff are very nice and friendly and nothing is to much trouble, the rooms are very nice and large we had a nice sofa I think it was a sofa bed , a nice big bathroom with two sinks, the food was delicious a truly superb breakfast with eggs cooked to order in various ways a great selection of cold meats and salmon with very nice bread, the coffee was also good from a nesspresso machine, evening dinner was also very good with a good selection and the waitress was friendly and nice, the building was previously a prison,hospital,monastery so it’s got a lot of history and character , we highly recommend this place.

An excellent stopping off place on the journey south as (in particular) superb and safe car parking 👍
