We found our favourite bar in San Sebastián. I went with my four siblings and we had the best evening in a long time.
The owner of the local was extraordinary friendly and knew really much about the whiskeys and cocktails they sell, that she gave us really good recommendations. They have a huge selection of whiskey and in our opinion make the best cocktails. The cocktails have some ingredients, that make the cocktails adventurous.

The music was really great and from time to time the bartender challenged us with different logical bar games, which were really funny to solve.

All in all the bar and the atmosphere was really nice and we really felt welcomed and special. The price is very good, we expected that the cocktails and whiskey would be more expensive.

I’m looking to going back soon.

Museo del Whisky caught me by surprise. A dedicated whisky bar in a seaside Spanish city is, in of itself, a surprise. But what particularly impressed me was the superb range of whisky on offer, and the warm welcome we received. Make sure you order a measure of DYC 8 year old - a Spanish whisky, and a most suitable choice when visiting this hidden gem in San Sebastian.

Best bar in San Sebastian. It was our main stay for the week. The staff are very friendly and do everything to make you feel welcome. Great cocktails and wide range of drinks to suit all. Downstairs is popular with locals and often has piano nights as well as traditional Basque music. The puzzles are also very entertaining. A must visit in San Sebastian.

The best bar in town. Paul the bartender is so funny and has lots of tricks up his sleeve! If you love whisky you have to visit and if you don’t love whisky you have to visit! So much fun and laughter.

Super place. Great vibes. Bartender is a hoot, trust the man and let him direct your whiskey experience. We started with an Old Fashion and the rest was history :)

Has the biggest whiskey collection in Europe. Bartenders are very good, don't go past the Greek Old fashioned cocktail. Definitely worth a visit!

Excellent cocktailbar, with a really good sortiment of whiskys! They are a late night bar, with a grand piano in the basement - which they use for keyboardstand in the basement...

Eclectic place with a good selection of whiskies. Knowledgable staff. Small selection of cocktails, but the Bang Bang was very good.

The Man knows his whiskey, he makes a sensational Old fashioned. Enjoy it and marvel at the bottles of 60 year old Macallan on the shelves

Omg!!! This place is like heaven 🤣 the bartender was like an artist! The selection is the biggest I've ever seen. The downstairs area is so freaking cozy! It's a must if whiskey or bourbon are your jam. I had a whiskey sour and an old fashioned... both were out of this world good!

Prices a little high but not worth it, even just for the atmosphere of the place.

Amazing whisky selection, best I've seen. The have a little dessert tray of assorted candies that comes around occasionally which is a little strange at first but it was a fun little treat!

Wonderful cocktail bar, we had the best drinks ever. Bartender had a real “high fidelity” vibe in the good sense. Plus he showed us how to melt a large ice cube into an ice ball ⚪

First of all, in my personal opinion this is a Landmark in San Sebastian. Even though this was only my 2nd time here (I mean the bar). Every time I am in SS I want to go, but for whatever reasons, I never go. They have all the best whiskies in the world ($$$). Is a place you don't want to miss, that's if you're a Whisky lover. Don't be discouraged by the outside look, is what's inside what you're there for. Enjoy!!

I love the full piano in the basement and all the little details of wiskey history. But it's a bit of a place for old people, interesting, single old people. Which one day I will be too, so I'll be back. Great place!!
