A nice day/half day trip from Barcelona. You can get combined ticket from Barcelona to Montseny: renfe from Barcelona to sant Celoni and then bus to Fontmartina (approx. 1h30min).
Walk was nice but on this route nothing much to see, except a little stream. Level is marked as easy, but to get back to the bus, it is a walk uphill.
