I have visited this restaurant many times in the last thirty years.
The trout is the star of the house. The waiters are very attentive and the food is good and easy. No frills or sofistications at all. The surroundings are beautiful.

Lovely patio setting in Riofrio next to the river. Esturión Confitado was so good I could have eaten another serving. The Trucha Ahumado was cooked to perfection. Very reasonable price. I hope to try the local caviar one day when my Bank card won't cry and have a tantrum at me for being too luxurious. I wait and dream.

Beautiful, traditional restaurant with white linen table clothes. Large, picture windows overlooking the 'Rio Frio' River, tree-covered mountains and trout farm next door. Attentive, professional service.
Wonderful atmosphere on a Sunday lunchtime whenit was packed with happy, chatty Spanish families.
We(3 ladies) loved our chosen meal.
We shared a starters of'migas' (traditional Winter dish of bread crumbs, fried in olive oil with garlic. Served with chorizo and melon balls).
Had trout in almond sauce, accompanied by fried potatoes and peppers, for our main and finished off by sharing some 'Leche frito' (fried blancmange coated in cinnamon and sugar) All accompanied by a pleasant house white wine and still water.
Finished with coffee
Les than 20€ a head :)

A very nice place for the trout and sturgeon lovers. They even have rice dish with sturgeon. Try and get a table next to the stream. By the way their meat dish looked excellent and I have a fab artichokes dish.

You cant miss out on the sturgeon. It could be cheaper, but you really get back what you pay in the form of an awesome flavour.
