I really love this place, I stayed for 5 nights because a weekend is not quite enough to really enjoy the local area and really disconnect from everything. The place is spotlessly clean, comfortable, peaceful, has good wifi (if you need it) and is very welcoming, the hosts Paul and Nigel were fab and made me feel really welcome. They know loads about the local area and gave me some great tips on what to do and see and also some great local places to eat in the village nearby. I did lots of relaxing in the sun, reading my book, walking and generally enjoying having a look around the local village/town. They even gave me some fresh eggs from their chickens for breakfast. There is a BBQ that can be used by guests and all rooms are spacious and the views from the terraces are amazing. I will be back again and would recommend this place to solo travelers (I visited on my own), families and also groups.

Simply the best holiday I have ever had.

There is an amazing warm welcome that Paul gives you. Both apartments are fabulous. I have stayed there twice and I have booked to go again.

A short drive to the authentic town of Velez-Rubio endorses the fact you are on holiday. It has shops, bars and restaurants used by the locals with virtually no tourists. The church is more magnificent than most cathedrals, the nearby national park is breath-taking, Velez-Blanco has a wonderful castle built on the mountain side.

There is a single track mountain road - not for the faint hearted - that gives phenomenal views. The nearby seaside town of Mojocar, an hours drive away, has a beautiful beach with few people on it. The coastal road is fabulous.

It has all the ingredients of a phenomenal holiday - and I cannot thank Paul enough for being a fabulous host. You feel like you are staying with a family member - there if you need them whilst you can enjoy the wonderful break from your routine life.

We have had an amazing family holiday. The hosts Paul & Laura have been fantastic, they brought us figs and almonds on our first day just to welcome us. The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in was huge, with a large terrace and has nice views. I would recommend this place for couples as well as families. It is close to Velez Rubio as well as Velez Blanco.

Amazing location with amazing service. Helpful all the way. This place has it all. Spacious, quiet, alone, warm and cool at the same time, has everything a person wants,alone and/or with children. Perfect score

Lugar idílico para desconectar en medio de la naturaleza.
Casa muy amplia con todo lo necesario para pasar un fin de semana, se agradece la piscina para poder tomar un baño.
Trato exquisito del anfitrión.

Hier stimmt einfach alles. Die Ferieenwohnung ist mehr als geräumig, dazu angefangen von der Küche über die beiden Schlaf- und Badezimmer bis hin zum riesigen Aufenthaltsraum super eingerichtet.
Da das Haus abseits liegt herrscht eine himmlische Ruhe, optimal um abzuschalten. Die Aussicht auf die Berge ist faszinierend.
Entdernung zum nächsten Ort (Velez-rubio) 5 Min. mit dem Auto. Der Ort ist nicht besonders groß, es gibt aber alles, was gebraucht wird.
Die beiden Inhaber sind total freundlich und hilfsbereit und ich möchte mich an der Stelle nochmal herzlich bedanken.
Alles in allem kann ich einen Besuch nur empfehlen.

Encontrar 4 chimeneas fue lo mejor de mis vacaciones.
Fue encontrar un entorno idílico de 6 hectáreas de naturaleza pura, un bellísimo caserón rústico con inmensas terrazas y vistas increíbles de las montañas a su alrededor y de los cielos más diáfanos de Europa, y anfitriones atentos a que la pasáramos bien y a cualquier cosa que necesitáramos.
5 estrellas, 10 puntos, lo es, y mucho más también.

Lugar perfecto para desconectar y encontrarte con la naturaleza. Las estrellas por la noche te transportan al universo...Paul, el anfitrión, nos ha hecho sentir como en casa. Todo muy limpio, y no falta de nada. Recomendable!!

No sólo es un sitio único, especial, en mitad del campo con animales y rodeado de flores, si no que además se suma que Paul es increíble, amable y muy muy divertido. 😍👌

Un sitio muy bonito y un trato excelente de Paul. Aunque viven en el mismo edificio es como si no lo hiciese. Super amable y atento. Buena localización y privacidad. Lo recomiendo sobre todo para familias.

La casa grande el sitio espectacular vistas impresionantes el dueño muy amable pero menaje de cocina escaso echamos de menos microondas tostadora y las camas individuales muy pequeñas para personas adultas
