The Sands Bistro

We had an amazing family meal! Incredible food, hearty portions, wonderful service and atmosphere. Reasonably priced, 3 course menu including drinks. Lots of choice, catering to all including a very nice vegan/ vegetarian menu. Highly recommended!!!

My husband and I enjoyed dinner here this evening. We went based on the previous review by Peer, and everything was remarkable. We had the mushroom soup, fish & dip, Sands Spicy Special, and homemade fisherman's pie. Our desserts were baileys cheesecake and rhubarb apple crumble with custard. Absolutely phenomenal. I definitely recommend.

Yesterday we had the most wonderful and terrific service at Dave & Karen and their Sands Bistro, where we were received in the best way. As we had not booked a table in advance, we could not get one before 9.15pm, which also didn't matter, since we had their small, but incredibly cozy, restaurant all to ourselves, as Dave said. After that we got the best service from him and the absolute best dining experience in Torrivieja from his wife Karen. Thank you both for an unforgettable dinner and evening and your hospitality. We give you our warmest recommendations and we will certainly stop by another time. Many thanks for this time! See you.

If you are a vegetarian or vegan, then you must visit Sands Bistro, because they have the most exquisite dishes, both starters, main courses and desserts. And then they also serve regular food, so that everyone can eat there - and even at a really good price.

Found this Beautiful Sands Beach and it was 100 % wonderful food and Service . Wonderful Gent serving us so so lovely . When ever in Torrevieja will visit . Three courses with half a bottle of wine or a Beer 22 Euro each . Well worth a visit .

Wonderful place!
Delicious food. Such great hosting and atmosphere. Went out of their way to provide vegan options - including a merengue which was sensational! In fact, the dessert menu itself is worthy of its own restaurant! The sangria was fantastic. Throughout the meal we were looked after to the highest standard. Will definitely be returning!

Wonderful English dinner place. All English fare. Proper pork, Yorkshire pudding, vegetables, dressing, gravy, etc.

Great food, we chose Sands Bistro just because 4.7 stars on google. And they delivered, besides the two dishes below, I chose Lambs liver for my main dish. And it was both plentiful and amazing, reminded me of tenderloin/Indrefilet. I would normally never chose liver in any restaurant. But this was great. English food that is good? Yes, really. I can't get enough of eating at Sands Bistro. The food is excellent and the owners Dave and his wife are very friendly. For me, this restaurant is a guarantee of a perfect and tasty meal in a nice atmosphere

Visited here in early December with 3 of my mates and it was so good we went twice. The staff are friendly the atmosphere is cosy but most of all the food was awesome and fairly priced. It will now be on my list to visit everyone I’m in Torrevieja.

Sunday lunch excellent food all hot and tasty and plenty apple and rhubarb crumble to die for will definitely go again and could recommend to anyone well worth a visit

What can we say, yesterday we were privileged to be able to have Christmas Dinner, boy what a feast, we did ask David if it was possible to have our veg done well and could not believe when he served us up with a delightful dish of well cooked vegetables, the drink flowed plentiful and thankyou to our friends Betty, John, Betty and Tony for a fabulous afternoon, this is a truly great little English restaurant serving 5star food, fabulous ambience and fabulous hosts🥰🥰🥰

Absolutely love this place - highly recommend

From the first fork full to the last, this was excellent food. This small bistro restaurant situated in the heart of Torrevieja specialises in English style cuisine. We visited on a Sunday, so the menu was a typical Sunday roast selection with a vegetarian option. The roast beef was exceptional, beautifully cooked, served with vegetables and roast potatoes, and, of course, a yorkshire pudding. My wife had the vegetarian option, which was a tasty vegetable loaf served with vegetarian gravy. A 3 course meal for €16 was excellent value. This bistro specialises in vegetarian dishes as well as mainstream options. It would be advisable to book. The only criticism was a half-hour wait between the main course and dessert. But will definitely visit again.

Fantastic little restaurant/Bistro Dave at front of house is a fantastic host, food was cooked perfect and plenty to indulge, amazing value for money, highly recommend this little gem 💎, we shall definitely be going again.
