Kan Zaman Restaurant El Gouna

This is the second time we've visited Kan Zaman, and we've had two really good experiences. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. The first time we came here, the waiter ordered for us as we were too late to order the fool and falafel, so we took him up on his recommendations. The second time we came, we ordered the same thing, which was spinach samosas, potatoes in tomato sauce, stuffed vegetables, rice, and bread. We also ordered two beers. The restaurant is located off the main drag, so it's nice and quiet. The restaurant is well presented with all the Christmas decorations and is clean.

Fantastic authentic Egyptian food

Came here for brunch and had the most amazing and authentic Egyptian food. The experience brought back childhood memories reminiscent of my grandmoms cooking. This has been absolutely fantastic the food quality and service and special thanks to Medhat for the warmest of welcomes and the mahshi surprise ❤ definitely coming back for more.

Traditional Egyptian cuisine in a side street. Very friendly staff and really delicious food. Many small plates to share. Definitely worth a visit.

Had a lovely evening here with friends. The employee gave us so much time to choose as needed and didn't got tired of explaining the dishes we have chooses in detail. The food itself came quickly. Super tasty, as well the amount of food was just perfect. Highly recommend. Sitting outside is possible as well as sitting inside on day's when the temperature are getting colder. Will definitely come again

My friend and I traveled to Egypt in March and spent a few days in El Gouna. Highly recommended this restaurant. Food was tasty! And manager Wedhat was so friendly and welcoming. Make sure to visit if you're in town!

Nice little restaurant in a quite area just few meters off the main road. Authentic egyptian food and friendly service. Vegetarian friendly menu. Tried a small mezze plate as a starter and then shared a shakshouka, fool, falaffel. Was delicious!

We have eaten here twice now & have loved the food both times. Less expensive compared to the surrounding restaurants, but the quality is still superb.

We tried several restaurants in El Gouna and this was by far the best one! This place has it all. A great variety of traditional Egyptian food, reasonable prices and great service. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
