Good, authentic Egyptian food!
And great views when there's no wind (with wind they protect the terrace with plastic screen.

Tried very local dishes such as Camel Pot (similar to a light veal goulash), stuffed pigeon (a bird with not much meat, stuffed with rice), mezze (all wonderful) and 2 desserts. Happy to have visited!

After our before eating here, it's best to visit the large (tourist) market just one already behind the main street. Worthwhile seeing!

The card machine wasn't working but luckily we had cash, please make sure to bring spare cash to avoid such situations.

Restaurants is on the top floor of hotel, 5th floor I believe didn't see a lift so not the most accessible.

A very good view of the Luxor temple from above, with space heaters which comes in handy as evenings are very chilly.

In the evening the avenue of sphinx is lit up nicely so it's great to see it from a different perspective.

My experience was satisfied. The staff is good at English, hard working. I went two times just to eat Beef moussaka with rice (like lasgna with beef anf egg plant). There are some Egyptian food in menu. Price is reasonable to me - one meal one drink is 315 pounds. When I see the bill, it does not include service charge or tax, all is same as price in menu (and it’s in Egypt Pound). Roof top view is Valley of the king, Nile and Luxor.

All perfect! The view 5 stars! The staff impeccable and the food delicious. We loved the professionalism. The Oreo milkshake is a must! Also the Oum Ali dessert.

The staff are nice. I really liked the moussaka tagine. The food is reasonably priced. It has a fantastic view from the top of the Nile, Luxor temple, and the Avenue of the Sphinxes.

Fridays at 12 is breaktime, for it is prayer time at the mosques.

Very good place to have dinner next to Luxor Temple located at a rooftop with views to Sphinx Avenue and the temple. Good prices and very kind staff (specially Abuzizo!). The food was incredible and we repeated every day.

Rooftop restaurant with a good view of the Nile and part of the Luxor temple. Friendly staff and a relaxed setting. It’s on the third floor, and there are only stairs to get up. Look for the entrance in the alley (see picture).

We stayed in Egypt for a month travelling all over the country an this is the best restaurant we went to. The food was amazing, the staff, specially Zazu (or Zuza) who served us was great, friendly and helpful.
They didn't overcharge us pretending that they miscalculated which is what we've been facing A LOT in Egypt. They did not add mandatory service percentage to the bill and left it to us to tip as much as we wanted.
We were in Luxor for 7 days and we tried this restaurant on the last day which is my big regret! They even kept our left overs, as we ordered a lot!, in their fridge and when we went back to pick it up they didn't ask for money which is very rare in Egypt!
They delivered good food, good service and didn't try to rip us off as tourist. I respect this kind of business and I would have given them 10 starts if that was an option!
By the way, the view is Devine!

It goes without saying they have one of the best views in Luxor. Rooftop seating with amazing decor that feels very Egyptian. Abuzizo is the man! He was very professional and accommodating. Everyone working there was very welcoming and always greeted us with a smile. After eating we did not even want to leave so we just hung out and took in the view. Oh, and the food is beyond delicious. So much that I guarantee you will be impressed and will not leave hungry.

I just arrived the first time in Egypt and hear alot about the tasty food. And Yes!! I got such a delicious food - what an amazing first impression of egypt!! Also a big thank you to Amen who made our stay at Al-Sahaby Lane to a great event. He is super welcoming and friendly =)
We will definitivly come back :)

Wonderful view of Luxor temple, Avenue of the Sphinxes, and the Nile River. The view alone is worth it. The food was also fresh and well priced. No tourist tax. Location was easy to find, my hotel and taxi knew this place right away. You enter through the hotel and walk up 4 floors.

Had camel meat pot, oum ali and cold hibiscus tea. They gave me a complimentary dessert.

Camel meat pot: generally pretty good, though one or two pieces were overcooked

Oum Ali: tasted pretty good, it's like pudding with wheat and maybe apple

Hibiscus tea: tasted good, it was refreshing

Great restaurant! Staff are extremely friendly and the food was dirt cheap and pretty darn good too! We got the Fateer Lahma and the beef shawarma, both perfectly cooked.We went at night so the views weren't the same but still beautiful. Definately recommend.

Beef with rice (tomato,garlic,bread) is extremely friendly for all people.
You can see mountains where the Valley of Kings located and even see the Temple of Hatshepsut.

Yummy food, gorgeous rooftop overlooking the Avenue of Sphinxes. Plenty of vegetarian options, and clean toilets. Our spinach and cheese feteera (fried flatbread) was indulgent and delicious. Very reasonably priced - for 2 people with a soft drink each we paid 400EGP.

Really nice restaurant with rooftop terrace facing the Nile and Luxor Temple. I would recommend the camel stew and the kebap.

One of the best places to eat in Luxor, it’s a must visit, great views, great food as well, vegetarian options as well must visit if you are planning for Luxor.

We had an amazing dinner to complete our trip in Egypt. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed our time here. On top of that Sadek really took care of us and made sure that everything was going well and that we were having a good time. Thank you all ♥
