Iberotel Luxor

This was my favourite place we stayed at in Egypt. We unfortunately were only here for one night, but I’d have love to stay longer. They provided a buffet breakfast with many options. The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly, and the rooms were nice and clean. Our room faced the street, which was a bit busy during the day, but at night it was quiet. The best part was sitting at the back by the pool and watching the sunset on the Nile. It was a very relaxing atmosphere.

Today we returned from the Iberotel Luxor. We spent an unforgettable week there. From the first moment we walked into the reception, we felt welcome and at home. After a welcome refreshing drink, check-in was quick and after a great lunch I could just relax. The food at this hotel was very tasty and in sufficient quantity. The cocktails were also perfect. The hotel management makes sure that the guests are satisfied and asks if they have any wishes. A very nice surprise was the birthday cake I had during my stay. Indeed, the work of all the employees was extraordinary. The only thing I am a little sorry for is that many people visit this hotel to sleep between visits to the wonderful sights and do not appreciate the hospitality of this wonderful hotel. Once again, we thank the entire hotel team for a wonderful stay and we look forward to your next visit.

Luxury experience, great views, value for money pricing!

The location and the views from the hotel were just amazing.

Location - walkable from the train station, market, Nile promenade (highlight), major tourist attractions, safe neighbourhood

Views - spectacular views of the Nile, morning balloon rides across the Nile, peaceful restaurant setting

Food - very elaborate spread for morning breakfast (best across our Egypt trip), rooms service or dine-in is very expensive (best to avoid given proximity)

Facilities - hotel had everything that you could want - pool, gym, riverside restaurants, floating poolside bar on Nile, concierge (very expensive though)

Room - we had river view room (amazing), good room and bathroom size. Higher floors are better, ask for a one with balcony

Value for money - good (at ~$75/n in Feb'24). Everything above makes up for this

For USD100+ a night, this hotel offers excellent value. The room was spacious and felt a tad luxurious. The buffet spread was wide and generous. They have a cafe and pool area just by the bank of the Nile. The hotel is just by the city centre and is beside a long promenade along the Nile that is lovely to walk by in the evening. I recommend picking a room facing the Nile instead if the street as traffic is busy all the time and it can get noisy

As a tourist guide, I stayed in many hotels in Egypt, but I have never seen a hotel as clean and comfortable as iberotel. I will never forget the helpfulness and smiling face of the staff and front desk assistant Ahmed Taha. The food was local and good, the breakfast was very much appreciated by me and my group. The rooms are cleaned daily and smell very nice. Thanks for everything Iberotel staff ♥

I stayed in a hotel for three nights. The stay was very wonderful. The front desk workers were very friendly and the breakfast tasted very good.

A very cozy old but very well maintained hotel, with a great location, and a beautiful Nile view. The pool by the Nile is such a pleasant experience. The gardens are few but beautiful. The rooms are clean and convenient. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was diverse and enough and tasty. Great value for money

Great view from the balcony. Rooms are good. Overall a good place. Foreigner and Local resident rates differ by almost 2 times.

One of the best locations in Luxor. But what shines out is their breakfast menu (so much elaborate) and their hospitabllity.

Prefer a Nile View room if possible. Definitely the best value for money in Luxor

-Very good food with view on nile which is very refreshing in winter
- rooms is acceptable however I ordered an Iron and they refused and offered laundry services which is very costly
- very good point that reception agreed to check me in on 9 AM upon my request
- it's location is very central and near everything.

Overall experience is very positive and will come again

I stayed in the hotel for a couple of days and the room was very clean staff were very attentive espically Mr. Mostafa from in the front desk, he explained the attractions in the city like resturant, gym, etc it was a really very interesting conversation and for sure i will be back to the hotel one more time on my next visit, and i wanna thank the managment there the rooms division manager Mr. Ahmed Mostafa and Mr. ahmed Taha, and Abdel Latif in the resturant were very helpful gentelman, and the food was delescious, god bless you everbody.

The hotel is all in all ok. We enjoyed our time there and we were treated perfectly and thank you for that!
Location is perfect. Swimming pool and the bar staff were great. A grear way to spend aan evening watching a sunset and drinking a freahly pressed juice over Nile.
Room could be a little more modern.

The pool and view are worth the stay. While I enjoyed the pool, Eslam and Yayah made sure I had everything I needed. Thier service and attention was the best! Definitely added to the enjoyment of my time at the pool. 10/10 would return just for the pool and the kind people.

Had a great stay at the Iberotel in luxor. We were there on business and had great service and help from Mr Ahmed and Mr Mohammed.

Would like to make a special mention for Eslam for the excellent service with a smile we received from him every morning at breakfast. He was fantastic and should get a pay rise. He beams love and light.

Luxor is amazing city in Egypt. There are a lot oglf tours very close, especially the balloons tour which is incredible. The Iberotel breakfast is fantastic, the rooms are cleaning and the Romance Pizzeria restaurant serves the best pizza in Egypt!

“Value for Money”

A hotel already with some years but in very good conditions, very clean, in a great location, and with amazing staff.

Less marks for service. Waterbottles were unavailable at check in. Had to call twice for the same. Though we had booked for the nile view, we were given street view room. We didnot mind as we were on a short stay but it should not happen when one is paying more/ taking extra efforts for the same. Rest everything was great, especially the ambience and breakfast. The ease of check in and check out is also worth mentioning.

1. It’s a perfect location. Beautifully next to the Nile, and only a 15min walk to shops, boat excursions, and then able to see the Luxor temple from the outside.
2. Buffet style for each meal. Worth it.
3. The staff has been wonderful, Very patient, accommodating, friendly, and great.
4. Came back from being gone all day with a large bottle of water outside our room.
5. Quickly accommodated a tour guide on the spot. It’s separated by East or west side activities. Our guide was very kind, professional, and with the spotty service he always waited next to the exit of every place we went to.

One thing to know, the beds are twins and it’s a custom that every person have their own bed. So we had a bed brought in.

It’s been a great few days here in Luxor.

If I ever return, I will be staying here again.

I really liked this hotel. It was clean and well kept, there's a proper door on the bath/shower so that the floor doesn't get wet and our room had a balcony.
The staff were friendly and attentive both at reception and in the lounge/restaurant/pool.
They have towels and loungers at the pool and it was never too busy.
Breakfast was great every day that we were there, plenty of fruit, granola, eggs, pastries & french toast. We had dinner once and it was my parents favourite place of the whole trip.
Tips:
-If you order food at the pool, it can take a while to bring it down from the restaurant - so order early.
-If you want to play billiards/table tennis/table football - ask at the bar and you'll pay around 100LE for an hour when you return the balls.
-At breakfast if you want coffee or tea you have to flag down a waiter and they'll pour you some.

The best place we have stay in our trip! Just for the breakfest go there!!! Staff super nice and you will feel extra safe here! Loved it, iv would have stay2 week :) +++++for the pool too
