Nobi and his stables are incredible. He takes great care of the horses and all the guides are so friendly and great with horses. The rides themselves are amazing - we were able to do sunset rides in the desert, sunrise to see the hot air balloons and more. Would highly recommend this stables over any other in the area.

If you're looking for a place to ride horses in Luxor, this is the one! They take care of the horses, the places they will take you for a ride are beautiful. It is adapted to any level of horse riding. The people working there are very friendly and very conscious about your safety and the safety of horses.

I have been on a lot of riding holidays over the decades & after spending a week riding daily from Luxor Stables (with a few other riders), I was very impressed by Nobi & his guides. And I loved the horses I tried - all forward, responsive and fast.
They look after the horses (& camels) very well, keeping them outside in paddocks 24/7 which is unusual in Luxor. They have access to shade, water & food at all times & the tack fits correctly, so there are no rubs or sores.
We got to do sunset rides in the rocky desert & a dawn ride to watch the hot air balloons take off at sunrise. The roar of the gas jets overhead would have panicked many horses but here they are used to it & just watch interestedly.
Happy to recommend Nobi's Luxor Stables

We were not planning on taking a horseback riding tour during our trip but we kept passing by the stable to get to our hotel. We loved passing by the horses and marveled at their beauty and how well kept they were. In our second to last day in Luxor, we caved and went for a ride. It’s a memory that we will hold dear forever. Our guide was amazing, the horses are strong and respond so well. Highly recommend!!

A wonderful 2 hour ride through the village, sugar cane fields and up onto the desert at Habu temple, with the Valleys of the Kings and Queens in the distance. Mohamed was an attentive guide and the horses are responsive and well-cared for. Thankyou Nobi!

Beautiful place to go riding. We chose a 3 hour sunrise ride which was totally worth getting up so early! Nobi arranged our boat from the hotel to the stables so everything went perfectly smoothly! The prices are very affordable however that doesn't mean that the horses suffer for it because they are impeccably looked after and clearly are cared about very much. Would recommend for anybody, experienced or not!

Local business owned by a local that speaks good English. The guides are nice and we had a great experience. Our 5 years old daughter had good fun. You can book through WhatsApp

Had such a lovely experience at Luxor Stables! We did a camel ride around the villages and fields, which was such a relaxing ride! It was a great way to see the Nile irrigation and local farming. You can tell the animals are all well looked after! This was so important for us. The owner also kindly showed us the stables, where the camels lived. The trips are very reasonably priced, but in light of this just remember to bring some small money for a tip.

Fantastic horse riding experience. Perfect for kids! The guides are very kind and patient, had my 5 year old riding solo in 5 minutes, thanks also to the mellow well-trained Arabian horses! Animals are well treated, beautiful, and healthy, and they have flexible options to suit any need. They understand how to treat guests, and made us feel like royalty. I will return every time in Luxor. This is a great way to explore West Bank of Luxor, and certainly our family favorite!

This was such a good experience! Animals are well taken care of here so we felt confident booking this experience. We rode through town and then out into the desert before stopping at a restaurant for a delicious lunch from the rooftop. Then we rode back (only because we were tired haha). next time we plan to do an overnight trip into the desert with them. Highly recommend!

100% recommended: great, healthy horses and beautiful landscapes!

A friend and I booked a tour of several hours in the early morning. We rode together with a guide, so there were only the three of us. The day before, we had already discussed our riding experiences so that the guide could choose suitable horses. My friend has some riding experience, and I am an advanced rider (I have my own horse at home). The horses look healthy and well-fed - not like many other animals you see in Egypt. They are also friendly and have a pleasant temperament. My mare was a bit more fiery and sensitive than the other one, but could be controlled well all the time. You can also see the influence of the English stable owner in the riding equipment, which looks relatively good. The staff are wonderful with the horses. We were also allowed to visit the pregnant mares and the herd in the paddock after the trip - our riding guide knew stories about each individual horse, and you can feel the great trust they have in him.

The ride itself started before sunrise, we rode through the village in the dark, which had a very special atmosphere. Arriving in the desert, we could watch the sunrise. What a beautiful experience! Due to the weather conditions, no hot air balloons took off that day - hopefully we will have better luck next time. The riding routes were very beautiful and varied with the village, the sandy desert and the paths between fields and plantations. Galloping on Arabian horses in the desert and between the fields is amazing! We could even see two wolves in the distance and of course many birds, as well as farmers at their morning work. My friend and I love to go horseback riding on holiday because we get to see the country from a completely different perspective. The condition for us is that the animals are treated well. Only the riding style of the Egyptians takes some getting used to for Europeans. However, my mare reacted well to my usual signals according to classical English dressage. We can really recommend Nobi's stable! The price is perfectly reasonable, and one should not look for bargains for the good of the horses. Please also include an appropriate tip for the riding guide. Should we travel to Luxor again, we will certainly plan several tours at Nobi's stable. :-)

We had a wonderful experience with Nobi. 3 of us (1 adult & 2 kids) booked a 1 hour evening ride - booked & coordinated via WhatsApp, the morning of the ride.

The horses are healthy & Nobi looks after them carefully. Our guide, Manto(?), took us through the village, farms and on the banks of the Nile. The horses were well trained & seemed comfortable with kids riding them.

Strongly recommend this activity for anyone with an afternoon to spare. Good break from the sights (which are indeed very beautiful & historical).

We got 2 hours tour with the guide. It was pleasent, horses were kind and gentle. I would expect our guide to offer some places to take some pictures and tell us about history of the monuments and old places.

The horses were well cared for and our guides were very kind. All of us (various levels of horsemanship) felt safe and we had a lot of fun on the 2-hour ride through the villages and the fields.

Great experience! Highly recommend it whilst in Luxor! We had Mando as a guide and had a great time with him. Very friendly and patient, we learnt a lot from him. We did the 3 hour horse riding tour, which went through villages, fields, and desert. Stunning way to see the more local life on the West Bank of Luxor. Thanks Again Mando!

I just came back from egypt and rode with Nobi’s horses at Luxor stables. It is so clear that these horses are well cared for and loved. They have a horse for every level of rider. Their saddles are comfortable and the guides are fun! I will definitely be back to Luxor Stables! Thank you Nobi!!!

My family had a terrific time on a 2 hour ride along the nile and into adjoining fields and villages... We had our two young kids with us, age 8 and 5, and the care and confidence from the stable owner and guides ensured they felt comfortable on their own horses. Our guides were amazing and this was a highlight of our time in Luxor. Highly recommend for an authentic and fun experience.

Incredible horses, rich culture, friendly people, stunning ancient temples. The horses are incredibly well taken care of, sensitive, well trained and comfortable with motorbikes and all the animals we passed. The hot air balloons are beautiful at dawn and the desert is just a big playground for going fast. The valley of the kings has incredible caves and mountains and our guide was amazing - super aware of everyone on the ride.
