The most wonderful hotel ever! We planned on staying here for 2 nights, but ended up staying a week. Insane how much you get for this price! The location is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and have everything you need. It is a peaceful oasis were we felt right at home.
The food is the best, all fresh from their own garden (that you can walk in yourself) and they also have a couple of camels, horses and donkeys. The people who work here stole our heart and the service was emmacculate.
We had a car accident with a rental car and they went out of their way to help us with everything.
Normally we always try to go to a new place, but we are coming back here as soon as possible. I can't recommend this hotel enough!!

An authentic Egyptian experience on the West Bank of the Nile, enjoyed for 4 nights. What a wonderful experience to be surrounded by Ancient Egyptian antiquities. The outside sitting area was also surrounded by trees and farm land.

The service was good, but the highlight for us was the fabulous food offered every evening. A 4 course meal of fresh and delicious food. How lucky for us to have found this wonderful place.

We had a wonderful two nights stay in Marsam. The location is an oasis of peace and beauty. Close to the main sites in the West Bank, walking distance from certain temples and a feeling of being away from the crowds.
We woke up the first morning to the sounds of the hot air balloons flying over the hotel. You can also enjoy the fantastic view over the fields, their vegetable garden and the camels, donkeys and horses. I will certainly be back. Thank you

We went for dinner at Al Marsam.
It was the perfect spot to enjoy a meal overlooking lush greenery with great food and hospitality in a place such a rich history.

Would highly recommend for anyone post a long day of exploring the monuments on the west bank of the Nile in luxor.

A true haven of peace!

We spent 8 wonderful days at Marsam Hotel as we wanted to take our time exploring Louxor and its surroundings. The hotel's location on the West bank contributes the overall serenity while surrounded by archeological sites - we were just a stone's throw away from the Ramesseum, the Colossi of Memnon, Valley of the Queens, the astonishing temple of Medinet Habou, and Deir el-Medineh, among many other sites.
The Marsam provided us with bikes, making it really easy to navigate between different locations.
The hotel also provided very good transportation for our excursions to Abydos, Denderah and Aswan.

We opted to have almost all our meals there due to the exceptional quality of the food: locally sourced, with a daily renewed menu that introduced us to a variety of Egyptian flavors, all at very reasonable prices.

The room was comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The entire staff was incredibly kind and helpful (special thanks to Mahmoud and Mouni ;) ) and we had some fascinating conversations about archaeology and Louxor with Klaus and Birte.

The hotel's boutique exclusively features local products, and the passionate shop keeper, who has been living in Egypt for a long time, guided us on the origin of each item

We got used to being there and will sincerely miss everyone :) We are looking forward to returning!

Small hotel located on Luxor's West Bank with a very rich history. The setting is unique, between fields and archeological sites.
The food was a real feast and we had dinner in the hotel each night during our stay. They organised a tour to Dendera and Abydos for us and we also rented bikes with them to explore the many nearby sites.
Absolute recommendation if you are looking for an authentic experience in a rural setting whilst visiting Luxor.

The Marsam was perfect. The rooms are tastefully designed and very comfortable, the food was the best we had during our 2 week vacation, and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. It’s amazing to stay in a place with generations of history related to the archeological sites you’re surrounded by.

We had such a lovely stay. The staff are incredibly polite and friendly. Hotel is very clean. Food is ridiculously delicious. If you like small hotels that represent the culture you are visiting then i would highly recommend this hotel, however you will def need to book driver/car, which the hotel provides. The prices are also good.

Excellent hotel with rich history. The garden is beautiful, food great, staff professional. Well managed. When we stayed here a group of archaeology professionals doing excavation also stayed. Highly recommended!

We went there to have lunch after visits. It is perfect. Charming atmosphere (fresh under the trees, calm, pretty decoration), short menu with 3 different fresh meals, offered with starters and dessert. Very tasty food. Serves beers. Nice view of the food garden! They arranged the taxi to go to the peer for us so we dont have to negociate prices. Im curious about bedrooms, it must be a nice stay!

First time in Egypt, arrived very late and treated to an excellent four course evening meal. All staff were very helpful and always smiling. The food for our four night stay as a family, was varied and excellent. The setting is superb, being so close to the East Bank historic sites including Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Mortuary Temple, Alabaster workshops and only a short drive to the River Nile ferries to the West Bank. Our suite with large terrace was unexpected, the views of the hills and hot air balloons taking off in the early morning were stunning. Cannot recommend highly enough, a must visit.

Hands down the best place I've stayed during my 15 days trip in Egypt. The location, the service, staff, food, rooms are unquestionably top rated. Value for money, not luxurious, the setting offer a real authentic experience, surrounded by the fields and ancient ruins, a few hundred meters away all the main archeological sites of the west bank. There's no other place like this in Luxor.

We came over from the East Bank specifically for dinner at this restaurant and it was AMAZING. We had the best evening of our whole Egypt trip. The setting was just gorgeous. One of the waiters took our children to visit the camels, goats and donkeys in the field and they just loved it. We ordered the set menu and everything was delicious. They serve wine and beer too. But the absolute best part of our evening was the incredible staff. Thank you so much

Perfect stay ♥

My mother and I (from Belgium) had a perfect time here. We were meant to stay 2 days but prolonged our stay twice because we liked it so much. It is a lovely place, beautifully decorated and with a view in nature.

The rooms are simple but perfect for us. We had the last available room which was the only one without AC, surprisingly we didn't miss it. The shower could maybe use an upgrade. I love the style of the rooms. Rooms cleaned daily.

We absolutely loved the food every single day! Organic, Egyptian, fresh, refined and big portions with a Western touch. We always ate the vegetarian options, which is always available. We loved the fresh juices.
Eat when the other groups are away to enjoy the quietness.

The service is simply perfect! Everything we asked, they provided: bikes, taxi, traintickets... For this alone I would advise this hotel. Everyone here is friendly en helpful. So grateful 🙏🏼

The only thing I missed was a swimming pool but you can always go to the swimming pool of another hotel.

I will advise my friends and family back home to come here and I advise you too.

You won't be disappointed ☺

We went here for lunch and had a perfect time. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We asked for vegan options, and they prepared a vegan lunch for us. They don‘t have a menu. Therefore, the dishes may change. They also have a pretty good espresso in case someone‘s looking for that. The prices are somewhat higher than usual but fair for the quality you get.

Amazing! Loved my experience here and do not hesitate just go!
Next to a green field with flowering plants and vegetable garden, some well looked after camels in the back, and views over the historical site next door.
Food was very fresh - ingredients grown in their garden. I’m vegan and was a happy eater with their daily changing menu. I’d eat here daily. Juices were freshly squeezed and super satisfying.
