IN LUXOR - holiday apartments & sightseeing tours

I stayed there with my boyfriend for 3 nights and it was amazing. First of all, the staff it's super polite and helpful. Second, the apartment was beautiful, clean and cozy. And third, the views are just perfection. Our room had view to the Nile river, so you can imagine... It was really amazing to sit at our balcony and just contemplate all that beauty. The experience by itself I"ll never forget. And the apartments are very well located as well, so It's a win win situation. If you go to Luxor, you need to stay there.

I stayed 4 nights here and was sad to leave. The rooms were lovely, and the views from the balcony were incredible. The chairs on the balcony were large and comfortable.
The staff, Abdo and Issam, were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food they prepared for us was copious and delicious, but we ate most of our meals at the fabulous Nubian House next door but one.
The apartment was lovely, with great views of the Nile and the East Bank. The people on this side of the Nile are much more laid back and far less aggressive in their sales pitches. Less than 100m down the road, there is a great mini market that charges non
tourist prices and stays open late. I
walked down alone at 11.30pm and
felt perfectly safe. When I got back, Issam was standing in the middle of the road watching for me.
There is a quiet boat jetty just opposite the apartments, and the guys will call you a boat to cross over to the East Side. It costs pennies. All in all, we loved our stay on Luxor's West Bank and would definitely return if we were in Luxor
The only negatives I could give is that the kitchen is ill equipt. Knives and forks, but no spoons. Stovetop but no pans. It was not a problem for us because we
didn't want to cook, but for others it could be. Also note that there is only aircon in the bedroom,but there are ceiling fans in both rooms, and the water pressure in the taps and shower is amazing, better than mine at home.
The great restaurant almost next door, the amazing views and the village life feel more than made up for the minor negative points. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Great place to live in Luxor! Very safe, good and helpful staff. Would recommend living on this side of the river if you want to escape the hazel . Just 5 minutes with boat to town, a beautiful boat trip for 25 Egyptian pounds per person.

After so tired trip in go bus, when taxi was taking us to hotel, I was scared with scary and dark streets but it's worth it, apartment was as it is in picture, clean, great view, so calm and peace, room service is great, islam the guy who welcome us, helped us very much with taxi booking, he is such a nice guy, will recommend this hotel if someone wants to live in peace, choose West Side of luxor, East Side is so rushy and noisy, you can loose your patience there. Restaurant is in 1 min walk from this place. Breakfast was so delicious, falafel, cheese, egg, Bread, fresh juice and etc so good.

Islam and Abdul are fantastic hosts and look after you very well. The rooms are large and clean, with a fridge in the living area, separate bathroom and large bedroom. The roof area is great to hang out, and the hosts can provide local breakfast, lunch and dinner for a very affordable price.
For any boat services, across the river, to Banana Island or for an island BBQ, speak to Mahmoud in the little shop two doors down. There are many vendors nearby, but Mahmoud provided an excellent service and is very friendly.
With two friends, I had a great time and this guesthouse. I thoroughly recommend staying here.

The location was great, we managed to rent the entire place and each room was perfect and ready when we arrived. They took care of booking the boat and the restaurant for us, made shisha, tea etc.. it was heaven ! 100% recommend

Great stay at IN Luxor

Clean and comfy with amazing view directly overlooking the Nile

The place has a shared roof and the team there is helpful and helped us get recommendations and arranged transportations we requested

First of all, very good COMMUNICATION I always add a hotel on insta, FB or whatsapp first and ask questions and make sure it's still open. The hotel owner/staff are very attentive before I even booked the rooms.

They also have free washing machine you can use, we brought soap but they'd probably give you some for free. There is a drying rack on the balcony,

The ferry to cross the river is RIGHT IN FRONT of the hotel. It's so easy to get around Luxor.

Make sure to download WHATSAPP it's what everyone here uses to talk.

Islam , a worker at the hotel , is kind and helpful. The prices he says are the real price. I paid him for the airport pickup and boats in a mixture of USD and EGP.

The views from the balcony and rooftop are really nice. You WILL see horses, donkeys and maybe even camels walking by, this area is so nice and relaxing.

The pictures are 100 % accurate, Luxor is very hot so the AC in the bedroom is great and the fan in the living room is good. The balcony and rooftop are beautiful but honestly it's so hot in Luxor you won't use them unless you're a camel or maybe Winter time here is better.

The kitchen is nice for drinks and snacks but no cooking is allowed as a safety rule. I didn't know that but the hotel politely explained it and I accepted it with no issues.

The airport or train station pickup is 20usd which depending on how many bags or how tired you are is worth it.

The hotel has a connection with a local boat guy named Ramadhan it's only 30egp or 1 dollar to cross 1 way(whole boat not per person) they're very quick and good at pick up, just add their what's app.

There is no Uber or Careem or indriver in Luxor but the taxi are all very fair. Just name a price you're happy with and they'll accept 90 % of the time.

The wifi will be good enough for 95 % of the people, I had to work via video call and it was good not great. But for youtube or FB it's fine.

The space itself is so nice, big western sofa. Big dining table, good kitchenette, giant wardrobe in the bedroom, mirror, lots of electric outlets[some hotels in Egypt have just 1 or 2] bed side tables are nice,

Tuktuk to the town area is 20 egp or about 65cents just name your price before you get in. It's a 15 minute walk to the West Bank downtown I PREFER west Bank over east Bank, this hotel is on West side.

EL HUSSEIN restaurant is great for breakfast lunch and dinner 100 % local prices, good meats and breads.

I rode horses at Luxorstables - Nobi Arabian Horse Stables, for 10usd an hour and it was awesome. He's also in the downtown area.

The EAST SIDE can be a bit like Cairo, but the WEST SIDE is super nice and relaxing. We spent a week here and everyone nearby is awesome.

The bathroom has a nice bidet , if you haven't tried bidet before give it a shot. There's also toilet paper.

And honestly you don't need to do Luxor AND Karnak just pick 1.

Ps. Hamada market is 2 minutes walk away and have local prices. They've got oatmeal, milk, cola, sweets, everything you need for holiday here

Pss. I HATE noise and there was no noise here at night I didn't even need my earplugs.

Best accommodation on the West Bank! Very quiet and relaxing. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and can sort out everything for you, from ferry’s and cars to hot air balloon rides. Walking distance from restaurants or Abdul will cook delicious food on the rooftop deck! Highly recommended! And Luli the cat is very friendly as well!

We loved everything about this place. Just amazing with a beautiful view of the Sunrise Nile and Luxor temple. We stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms were very good. We had booked the Deluxe room which was on the second floor. The balcony view was so amazing. We had a great relaxing time here. Many restaurants are available nearby. Boats to go to the East Bank can be taken right infront of the room. The house care taker ASLAM was really helpful. He helped us with all the information we needed, with currency exchange, taxi for our Luxor West Bank trip (big thanks to him). I highly recommend this place.

Just one suggestion to the owner : Do add shower curtains in the bathroom. We were having our baths very cautiously.

Very good and cheap option to stay on the west bank of Luxor.
I can reccomend it to everybody.
It is clean u have a lot of space, even 2 balconys a fridge and a small kitchen and an AC.
The staff Abdull and Islam are very good people they will help u with everything you need and they give everything to make you feel like home so definetly a 10/10.

These apartments are really beautiful and a great option for staying in Luxor on the quieter side of the Nile. The apartment is large and spacious, renovated with a very nice interior. The large balcony is also lovely.
The rooftop is beautiful, a great place to sit and watch the sunset. There is a chef who will cook delicious meals for you!
Whenever we had any questions, the staff was always ready to help. We also booked a felucca boat private dinner with them and it was great.
You can walk to the local ferry from the apartments in 5-10 minutes. It’s only 5 EGP and very easy to do. There are some cafes and restaurants a 5-10 minute walk from here as well.

Excellent place to stay. In a good area with restaurants but set back from the busyness. The owner, Mohamed, communicates well and is an honest person. We had a payment issue and he made sure it was resolved honestly. The staff there are helpful and accommodating.

We were on a private West Bank tour with Hamdi (tour guide) and Mohamed (driver), they were very professional and Hambi was very knowledgable about all the sites and history. Very nice tour where they pick you up at the hotel and drive you around the sites that are included in your tour. Can be booked upfront from their website. At the end very nice dinner by chef Abdul and drive back to the hotel. Recommending for tour guides in Luxor.

Amazing place and amazing staff Islam, he is super helpful arrange the sunrise at the Nile felucca and restaurant also make tea and shisha for us super nice and friendly. He is amazing!

Home is lovely, view is outstanding. Kindness and generousity was over flowing. Food was delicious, I would recommend it to anyone, Felt like home.
The tour was amazing, thanks to Hassan, we had the best day possible, we learnt a lot, and felt like family.

We had a great time staying here! The owner is very pleasant and responsive. The apartment has all the basic amenities you’ll need, not to mention a full service crew and free rides across the Nile from West to East bank in Luxor.

The most beautiful house in Luxor! Very spacious room and balcony! I can just see the Nile River sunrise from my balcony!
