McDonald's Luxor

McDonald's isn't really on my places to eat list when travelling and rarely ever visited, but luxor being a very small city with limited fast food choices this was a must visit stop.

The food was actually good, the self service machines didn't really work with my card but I was able to visit the cashier with my order who was able to process the payment with the card.

Didn't wait long and the staff brought food to the table - on the third floor.

Burgers were good as well as the nuggets and chicken strips. I even got the cheese cake which was nice.

The Oreo shake was actually just ice cream with crushed Oreo on top.

Overall I would recommend it when in Luxor.

Food is good, eaten there a few times while staying in Luxor, quite expensive but a safe option to eat as a european

Food is much better than in Cairo. Nothing special but at least edible. Service is quite fast. Atmosphere 100% in front of Luxor temple

It was closed when we first visited yesterday afternoon. But it was open when we visited tonight. Not sure if it was a Ramadan thing or a mis-information on Google.
Anyway it is clean, the staff are professional and friendly. Good price for a set too.
Hopefully the staff are paid fairly by McDonald's.

i personally hate the american fastfood, but I'll give it credit for coca-cola zero and i guess it has something to do with a local water? I tried many coca in europe and honestly it always tasted terribly, especially in france and italy - sweetened water-like syrup. But egyptian cola is something! its to try! Also i would like to thank the management of this Mc for their idea to install a real espresso machine! Add to it wonderful ethiopian coffee (i think it was ethiopian due to its acidity) and as a result you get THE COFFEE (25LE), not that american disgusting brown drink a la starbucks. Also they sell slices of carrot, honey pie, things that i didnt find in other Mc in Cairo.
and a last tip - please don't play the music so loudly, it really annoys.

I've visited this McDonald's multiple times during my visit in Luxor. A good place for a short snack and enjoy the views from the 3rd floor. The food offered is what you might expect from this franchise. Prices are low compared to European standards (1/4 of the prices we pay).

Staff is friendly. Toilets and seating areas are clean.

But it has such good view …try to find a table to have yourself be seated . Enjoy the food and the view .

Why no filet-o-fish lol?

Located in the downtown Luxor opposite the Luxor temple. Very good restaurant, 2 storeyed shop and all McDonald's items are available. 2nd floor is the best, the Nile and Temple are visible. I had basic burger; I had ice-cream as well. Total cost was 48 Egyptian Pound (3 USD).
