Best restaurant in Luxor! Guys, you must visit this place. The food is very fresh and awesome. Their curry chicken shawarma is really something 🔥🔥🔥 and babaghanoush is the best one in Egypt. The family is very lovely. Prices are very fair compared to most of the Luxor restaurants, especially on the East side. Love you forever 😊🧡

The food is so good.

Literally an oasis of friendliness and peace in an environment that can sometimes be bleak, this was our go-to stop three days in a row: it's right in front of the gates for Medinet Habu, and the German-Egyptian lady who runs it with her father are the best of humans. Food is so great, wifi is strong, and it's open till eight pm, long after its far less personable neighbours have shuttered their austere doors. Maratonga, we love you!

We stopped here as part of our trip around Luxor. This place was a breath of fresh air; the food was great; freshly made and the owner was very kind and welcoming.

The prices are also very fair compared to most other places where they will try to charge tourists more. Highly recommend this place.

Wonderful cafe just outside Medinat Habu. The food was excellent - super tasty chicken tagine that falls off the bone and the best lentil soup! The hosts were so kind and offers VERY fair prices (they don't hike the prices up for tourists!)

I loved this restaurant!! The garden seating is very beautiful and there is a lot of shade for a hot day. The lemon mint drink was nice and the Egyptian coffee is very good.
We had the Spanish omelette with cheese and beets and fresh baked bread. It was delicious. Perfect after going to Habu across the street.
I recommend coming here before or after the temple instead of your hotel restaurant. The food here is better, the owners are very kind and accommodating, and it’s a nice peaceful place to relax.

The best and freshest food in Luxor. The Shawarma and Tagine is very delicious and The hospitality of The owners Masrya and Sayed are so kind like family they welcome you. I highly reccoment this place. In front of habu temple.

Very friendly stuff. They are kind and respectful. The cafe is very clean and drinks are delicious. It is a great place to have a rest and some cold drinks. And I think food is great too.

Delicious food, amazing people. The portions were large and they're open late. I had to check out of my hotel early, and the family that runs the restaurant let me wait for my train there, and even helped watch my bag while I explored the temple across the street!! I had a great conversation with the father who runs the place, and he helped me arrange transportation to the ferry. Really above and beyond. I felt even more welcome at this restaurant than at the hotel where I stayed. And the coffee is delicious too!

Fresh, delicious, home-made, Egyptian classics made with love and care. The price is not local, medium let’s say, but the food and the place are worth it. The “al fresco” dinning room is cosy and welcoming, full of plants and shade and the service is ultra-nice, thanks to a German-Egyptian family.

Excellent resto to stop, eat and relax while you are visiting the west bank. Service was really sympa and professional. Tasty food, amazing prices and one of the best coffees in Egypt.

Sooo goood the food in this place!
First of all, it is exactly in front of the wonderful Habu Temple.
We had a breakfast before the visit and it was delicious ... so we decide to eat there again for lunch. Fresh fruit juice, hummus, soup, babagannouch (aubergine cream), vegetables, hot bread, meat, rice ... really everything perfect.
They have also a beautiful room as a small Homestay, perfect location for Kings, Queens, Hatchepsut, Nobles and Workers Tombs, Ramesseum ... and of course Habu Temple!
A nice quiet place, separated from crowded Luxor downtown.

A very remarkable place in Luxor. So far it's been the only place in Luxor where i felt treated honestly- e.g. by the attitude of the owner or the clear price sign outside.
The owner and team are very welcoming, the atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy and relaxed. If you find the "lieblings Platz" you can have a view on the nearby temple.
The food and coffee is outstanding, really enjoyed it.

Lovely place just opposite Habu temple (which is not to be missed - amazing)! Very friendly owners and nice food and drinks, very reasonably priced. They speak fluent English and German.

Extremely pleasant family-run restaurant in front of Medinet Habu. The owner speaks few languages and his daughter- Masria too. One feel like home there! We ate 2 times : tagine and chicken shwarma and both times was delicious! They have really good Egyptian coffee and it is a pleasure to be there. We would definitely come back!

It always feels comfortable to have a drink here, across the Medinet Habu temple. Everybody is so friendly.
I forgot the name of the bird, but he already stays 27 years with them. Of course he flies out, but he will always come back.
