Hotel Pavillon Winter Luxor

This hotel is simply amazing ! Clean , good equipped with external swimming pool and has been made in really beautiful style but the best part of it is so incredible garden. In the garden you can find many varieties of trees and flowers , flamingos birds and peacocks … really breathtaking!
We had excellent time here and I would love to come back . Breakfast and service were top! There is no better place to stay in Luxor!

We've been to Luxor twice and stayed at the original New Winter Palace and this one.

The gardens and pools are excellent and maintained to a very high standard. The rooms were good and clean. Considering how busy the streets are outside the hotel, it's a peaceful oasis inside.

However it was the service that made it for us. The team at the hotel were friendly and very accommodating.

This hotel deserves 6 stars! Its a perfect hotel in the middle of luxor, perfect to discover luxor. Staff are really very friendly, rooms are very spacious and very clean, the garden of the hotel is magnificent! Many birds and trees that are breathtaking… the pool area is beautiful… breakfast totally worth it… i totally recommend this hotel and will certainly come back here in the future..

Very nice 5 star hotel surrounded by beautiful grounds, a lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of Luxor town centre - the location is fantastic, right opposite the nile and up the road from the temples. The rooms are luxurious, there's a pool, restaurants with great food and the staff are lovely and so helpful. It's shares the grounds with another hotel, they have shops which are very expensive (or scammy) and right outside the gate there's always loads of taxi drivers ready to harrass you. Let the security book you a taxi (it's the only way you'll get a reasonable price) or better yet walk.

We had a lovely and pleasant 5-day stay at the Pavillion of the Winter Palace - one of the better hotels on out trip to Egypt. The lush gardens and large pool of the Winter Palace are an oasis of peace and quiet after visiting the wonderful tombes and temples of Luxor. The hotel is centrally situated, walking distance to the downtown restaurants and cafes, the Nile corniche - pleasant boulevard to stroll - Luxor Temple and museum and the souq. The rooms are a bit outdated and oldfashioned, but very spacious, clean and with a lovely balcony overlooking the gardens. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of choice and good service. Would definitely recommend to stay here when in Luxor!

Majestic and beautiful hotel that shares the same gardens as the Winter Palace. The rooms are spacious, tidy and all have stunning views of the immaculately maintained garden.

Breakfast is served for a long time which allows plenty of time to eat with a range of continental and Egyptian food.

The pool area is well maintained with attentive staff.

I can only echo everyone's experience by saying it's an Oasis in the heart of Luxor. I will 100% come back.

The Pavillon Hotel is a great place to stay, it's the sister Hotel of the Winter Palace. Very big swimming pool very pleased with the service, the people here are very nice and friendly, always willing to help in anyway that they can.

The Pavillon is a reasonably priced middle-class hotel behind the luxurious Winter Palace. It shares many of the same amenities as the Palace including the huge pool and peaceful garden. Because it is on the same grounds as the Palace, guests may also use the Palace’s front terrace overlooking the Nile, which is especially beautiful at sunset. The room was comfortable and mostly clean (When I arrived, the carpet needed vacuuming, but the next day’s room service did it without needing to be asked). The bathroom drainage is slow and the shower faucet needs a small repair, but otherwise, I was very pleased with the room and especially the view over the garden. I highly recommend this hotel for guests who want to treat themselves without breaking the bank.

Everything was great, including pool area, garden, etc. I just wished to have a tea kettle in the room as needed tea sometimes but then had to go to the pool area to buy it.

The room is spacious and clean. The garden in the hotel is beautiful. The location is convenient.

A excellent hotel, it has access to the same facility's as the Winter Palace, including the fabulous gardens and pool area.

Don't waste your time trying to save few dollars
On Airbnb places in the west bank. This place is amazing. Very clean rooms and spacious. Shares all facilities with the well known winter palace. Speechless about the facilities and the lovely garden. A break from the hectic noise and constant harrasment in the streets. Short stroll to all temples and museums in Luxor. If you would like to experience a lovely romantic dinner in Winter palace 1886 restaurant, be ready to spend some money, have some fancy outfit ( Jacket or tie for men, dress for women) and enjoy an exquisite experience offered by such a heritage place.

It was incredibly beautiful, clean, well maintained, friendly... it has everything! Even flamingos in the gardens.
The only thing I regret, is that I could not stay longer! It is incredible!!!

This hotel has really unique garden with some cute details. It is located at the center of Luxor. You can reach several restaurants just in front of the hotel while strolling along the riverside. Overall condition of the room and hotel were okay.

I loved the garden. A very well maintained garden.
The breakfast was outside on the garden with the fresh air and sun so perfect.
The room are spacious and well cleaned. We had enough space at the pool to enjoy with my friends.
The location was great walk distance for Luxor Temple and also near to the Nil. Everything was smooth.

This place is like an oasis in the middle of busy Luxor. We stayed there for a couple nights after a Nile river cruise and it was a bliss. Breakfast is great, service amazing (especial mention goes to Walaa at reception, who was amazing), and the garden and pool area are really well-taken care of, beautiful and peaceful. I recommend this hotel 100%!

Perfect location, downtown near restaurants but because the gardens are so large, you feel totally separate to the city outside. Pool area and breakfast are fabulous. Much better value than winter garden in the same complex. Rooms including bathroom are perfectly fine (only getting a 4* instead of 5* as only twin rooms were available).

What can I say, we absolutely loved this hotel! Here is the real story: In my opinion, I think people are looking at this hotel to be like a typical Western style hotel. This is not that type of hotel. If you want that then go to the one of the other big name hotels in the area. This is a historic hotel, run by friendly locals, that is very conveniently located right next to the Luxor Temple and the souk. Given its location, it is an absolute oasis in the middle of the madness. In addition, I know it is mentioned in other reviews, but it is basically another wing of the Winter Palace Hotel, which is no more than 200 feet away. I didn't realize how close it was and that you really are sharing the incredible massive garden and facilities. So basically, you can pretend you are actually staying at the Winter Palace because you can eat/drink in there, as well as use the common areas, which is what we did during out trip there.

We loved the pool. It is not overly crowded, and is very large. You can easily swim and avoid the children playing, even at the busiest of times. The bar (inside the Winter Palace) is a historic bar with a piano player in the evening where you can have cocktails. Such a nice experience.

As for the breakfast buffet, there is a large selection with both indoor and outdoor seating. Yes, there are flies outside. What do you want the hotel to do about that? If the flies bother you, sit inside.

We loved our cleaner (3rd floor). She was amazing and so sweet to our 6 year old son.

The hotel also has the best free and fast wifi we found in Luxor. We stayed at another big name hotel while here and much preferred this one. When we come to Luxor again, we will absolutely come back. Where else can you stay that has such history? Amazing!

I would rather rank this hotel as 4 star Egyptian standard, as it is half cheaper than Winter Palace. You can see this hotel is a bit worn, but having price around $55 it is quite nice. anyway the best part of staying here is the amazing royal garden, this is impressive. Swimming pool is also gorgeous, deep and 25m lengths.
Breakfast is not impressive, but enough.
Service is very professional.
Hotel is almost in city center, you can easily go to city, there is many local places to eat or drink juices nearby for quarter the price of hotel prices. Just definitly avoid and ignore touts, taxi and carriages, they are scam.
This place is much much more better any other mass All-inclusive options, there is no many people on pool, it is quiet and calm, no any animations, no music, you can rest and relax perfectly.

A really great hotel. Best value for money in Egypt. Beautiful gardens, beautiful pool. Quite nice lunch sandwiches at the pool. Super good location. Not the best wifi, but quite good for Egypt a few mb/s and workable. Breakfast decent and starts at 530am which is super good for tours. Highly recommend, I even extended my stay.
