Great location with clean rooms and a great rooftop restaurant. The owner is very friendly and will help you book any tours, private car or hot air balloon at a very good price!

Mr Mamdow, the owner of the place is the most amazing host I've ever met. His kindness has no limits. He was very generous when I visited his place. He arranged the historical expeditions and hot air balloon for me at best rates. Cooked really nice food and gave me a clean place to stay. Can't forget his ever smiling face and cheerful nature! Strong A/C. Good value. Good WiFi. Location near the ferry. The owners helped me with tours and picked me up from the train station for $2. The rooms are not opulent but it was a great refuge from the heat and hassle of Luxor. I was comfortable and I would return.

Clean, huge rooms, perfect breakfast, amazing staff. I had a wonderful stay. The rooftop is great. Good local recommendations for food. Quick access to the ferry to cross the river, easy access to Valley of the Kings. I wish my stay was longer! I recommend 10/10.

My sister and I had a wonderful time here. The rooms are priced very well, spacious and clean. Mamdooh is happy to either arrange a tour at a fair price or guide you to a local restaurant himself. Breakfast on the rooftop in the morning is truly amazing. Many thanks and we wish him and his team all the best.

I got a really nice and affordable room at Nile Youth Hostel. The breakfast is included and it is really good and typical. Location is perfect for someone who wants to explore the west bank, but also few minutes away from the ferry that takes you to the East bank. And the host, Mamdouh, is a very nice person with whom I learned a lot about Egypt. Highly recommended!

This is a great option for backpackers budget travelers in Luxor. The hostel is new and the owner is taking great care to develop a good reputation with travelers. In the future, he plans to put a restaurant on the roof so hopefully there will be better breakfast options. Note that this is on the WEST bank of the river but the ferry runs all the time and is only 5£ Egyptian. This side of the river is less chaotic than the east bank. It’s right in front of the soccer field and super convenient. Recommended!

Great Wi-Fi, nice service from the staff, and wonderful views of the Nile! The owner walked us to a great restaurant the first night when we arrived around 10. Breakfast was also nice and served on the rooftop!

Super place in the center of the city, view of the Nile from the room, even from the bath. Nice rooftop and great quality service. I recommend!

Great AC and wifi, right next to the ferry to take you across the river. You can also play soccer with a ton of local kids if you want
