Glehn's Castle

Beautiful little castle-like villa, right inside a beautiful and peaceful forest literally two step away from the road. The castle itself is superb, from there you can walk around in one of the many trails in the forest or reach one of the many observation points. Go here by foot from the Nomme market to enjoy a great will among beautiful wooden villas (2.2 km long)

The place was not as much impressive as the way we got there and nature around. Beautiful park on the hill, fresh air and lots of positive emotions. Very nice hiking route for family weekend adventure.

I went to this place in winter and it was closed. And I went there to make a few pictures and felt this building really amazing. A castle with an old history and quite famous here in that Region.

Would def. Go there in opening times, to be able to enter the inner area I could see from the outside.

A wonder place close to Tallinn centre to enjoy nature, interesting sculptures and exciting ruins. Easy to reach by train. The place is good to visit at any time of the year. Good for walking, jogging or cycling. A few nice benches. Possible to visit with strollers as well. A great place for kids.

A beautiful place 2km from Tallinn University of Technology...never been inside of the castle but it is worth to take a walk around and explore...

Beautiful place to visit. Lots of nature and green in the summer. They are really Bea in the winter with ice skating, slides, and activities. Sports arena is really cool to visit, just pay 5 Euro if you want to use the swimming pool, hot tubs. Cool Cafe in the sports arena. Awesome for jogging and exercise in the summer.

Built by Nikolai von Glehn in 1886 and set a forested park, this castle provides a perfect escape from city centre bustle.
Though it was destroyed during World War I, the romantic, towering edifice was restored by art groups and students of Tallinn Technical University from 1966-1977 and has since become a favourite spot for various ceremonial and anniversary events. The medieval-style castle has several storeys and plenty of rooms for various events such as training sessions, seminars, conferences (50 - 240 seats), presentations, receptions for up to 250, concerts, banquets and weddings.

Good castle and park to see. It is good exercise to walk around here.

Amazing place and beautiful park around.

Very beautiful place. Food was delicious and waiters and waitresses were very polite. Great place for big groups and dinner. Everybody loved it! Nice variety of food for some of our vegan and gluten free people as well.

There is a very popular recreation area around the castle: park with stone-made sculptures and a weird orangery house, astronomic observatory tower, berries in the forest, open-air swimming pool, tall ski-jump, jogging, walking and skiing paths equipped with street lights.

Majestic small castle, lots of intresting rooms and design elements, lovely Forest Park around. Friendly staff and great place for events up to 150ppl

Very beautiful place! Has an Observatory and grotto. We haven't been inside - its closed on sundays.
