Chaperón Lodging

We had a great stay at Chaperon Lodge. Rooms and showers are clean and modern. There is also a modern self catering kitchen and shared living room. The staff are friendly too.

This place is amazing! The concept was quite new for me ( it has a shared living room with private rooms) but they have an amazing staff!
Cleaning is perfect, I stayed for a whole week with my dad and we enjoyed our stay so much in here. It's retired from the main avenue of Alausi so is quite most of the time. And I'll strongly suggest taking their breakfast menu! Is amazing and they let you customize it!

Liked  · Very new and modern, everything worked well, we loved the common area kitchen (well equipped) & living space that was well lit and very new. The bed was comfortable, shower was big and water pressure adequate, the breakfast was simple but done well and with a smile. The staff were nice and quick to work on or solve issues. Their records showed no breakfast but our booking.com had it so they quickly agreed. Washer and dryer were wonderful too. They accepted credit cards with no extra fees too. Overall a very nice stay.

Disliked  · The room and bed were a bit small. The wifi worked fantastic in the common area but rather weak in the bedroom. I also couldn't connect with my tablet or PC but just used my phone as a hotspot and it was fine. Strange because it never happened during our extensive travels in Ecuador. They really tried hard to fix it even replacing the router. Our phones connected fine though. TV could have a few more channels as only blurry local ones came on.

The hotel is new, the facilities are comfortable and cozy.
The bed it's a bite small for 2 people

It's more of a modern house than hotel. Nice, clean rooms and private bathrooms with shared living room, dining room and kitchen. Nice, helpful staff.

Este Hotel debe ser una de las mejores opciones de hospedaje en la zona, habitaciones con un tamaño ideal, baños remodelados o nuevos, agua caliente, wifi, duchas amplias, con pequeños detalles en el mobiliario por mejorar. Aunque mi tarifa no incluía desayuno, tienen una pequeña cafetería como parte del hotel con interesantes opciones sobre todo de desayunos. El parqueo es en un terreno junto y con tarifa extra. Alausi es una pequeña ciudad, con mucho valor histórico y con hermosas calles y casas congeladas en el tiempo, no hay muchas opciones ni en restaurante ni en hoteles con un valor agregado interesante para turismo de buen nivel. Chaperon L es una muy buena opción.

Recomendado al 500%! La decoración, la ubicación y la limpieza... Todo es impecable. Si a ello se le suma el buen trato por parte de sus propietarios, la convierten en una estancia maravillosa!
