CUMBAYA’S CENTRAL PARK MOST POPULAR COFFEE SHOP

QUITO, EC – Cumbayorkians love their brand-name goods, including their coffee. So, it was no surprise to find this well-known coffee shop in the heart of Cumabaya’s gastronomic square where taste and value is overpriced. Occasionally, you’ll get lucky and find a gem – and this Juan Valdez was just that.

Sometimes all you need is coffee, especially after long hours of work when the sun is going down and you just wanna meet up with a friend. That was my case.

This location attracted yuppies and families alike, so don't be surprised if you come here to work with your laptop and you have kids being kids around the café, especially after 5 p.m. when family and socializing time begins.

But the overall sensation and energy was of young urban professionals, hands down.

It has three levels: ground floor (entrance), lower lunge (more private) and the terrace where you have an overview of the Cumbaya’s town square.

The staff are genuinely friendly and keep the spaces clean and organized at all times.

A very cool experience.

Juan serves good coffee and treats in attractive locations. Staff members are welcoming, knowledgeable and efficient. My serious coffee epicurean friends do do not accord Juan Valdez the highest ratings but I think that Juan does what he does quite well.

Good place and excellent location. I really enjoyed their decoration with coffee bags.

Good spot to work at. Has a nice view of cumbaya park, has couches and an upstairs area, internet was good too.

El sitio es amplio con dos pisos y buena vista de los alrededores. Tienen silla en la parte de afuera. Ofrecen bebidas calientes y frías; café, nevados, frases, postres dulces y salados, sanduches, etc. Puedes pagar en efectivo o tarjeta de crédito o débito. Ambiente familiar o con amigos. Parqueaderos en los alrededores.

Excelente experiencia. La amabilidad y atención son muy buenas. Me gusta el trato al cliente. En muy pocos lugares de este tipo reqlizan una atención de este nivel de calidad, el trato es cordial y atento. Lo recomiendo ampliamente
