Puerto López Playa

Came for Isla de la Plata, and glad I did. Some pictures around town and from the island plus whale watching tour.

Not many whales are around in late September. We spot a few but from afar.

We truly enjoyed our visit to this beach town. Different from Montañita, this is a much quieter place but still has restaurants and a busy bar scenery. Located just two hours away from Manta and an hour from Montañita. There's a beautiful pier where you can take tours to the island and great pictures of the beach. I do want to come back one day

I have never met such a great host like Miguel was, he was so giving and always had an activity for me to do. I went alone and he made me feel safe. Would definitely go back for more fun things to do...

Puerto Lopez is definitely one of my favorite beach towns in Ecuador. Not too loud and crazy (Montanita 😊) but just enough of everything to make it fun and relaxing.

I went with some Ecuadorian friends to the fish market to buy some fish and have the fish lady cook it it was unbelievable the sights The Sounds the taste of the fish nothing like I've ever seen in my life.

Beautiful shoreline in a secluded cove. Wide selection of brachfront hotels and restaurants. Friendly street merchants and lively nightlife.

What can be better than sitting on the beach, listening to the waves with a refreshing breeze keeping you comfortable??

Great food and atmosphere. A little expensive for the area but worth it

We enjoyed the Malecon and our stay is Puerto Lopez.
