Mi Comisariato

Not the best place to shop, but when you have limited options it is all or nothing. The place is always busy with shoppers and shelf stackers. It is hard to understand why all the shelves are not full stocked when first open. After some improvements a few years ago they increased retail space, unfortunately they did not ease customer flow to increase end cap promotions and on sale items. Fast moving items are not highlighted or positioned to get customers to move through the store. They do not offer whole price for business customers, this would increase a good way to increase sales, and have early hours for business customers. Last have better trained staff that would reduce long lines at the checkout, and improve customer retention.
To be honest the changes that they have introduced have increased customer flow and I would imagine that their sales are up, except for the check out area it is still a mess, you need patience.

Good selection, clothing and gas & electric bikes, scooters and motircycles as well. Conventional bikes, too

Supermarket with tons of products. The difference with the smaller comisariato in Salinas is the stock of products, much more options plus the clothing section, toy section and the tools and hardware area.
Also the butchery (meat and poultry) area has some products that are difficult to find in other areas of the province.
From time to time the run sticker promotions. You collect some stickers and pay a low amount for the promotional products such as cutlery, dishes, bags or other products depending on the promo.
The micomisariato app has some discount coupons, make sure you check them for extra savings.
Only thing I prefer from the competitor supermaxi is the bread. Bread in mi comisariato is not as good and there is not much selection to choose from.

For an American it's like a hardware store and supermarket combined. And you can find anything you need there.
