Live the Life Lodge is incredible. The owner and staff were so accommodating and the food is incredible. We had fresh, cleansing smoothies in the mornings and had a wonderful, relaxing massage. The owner works hard to make sure anything we wanted was taken care of. We toured the area and went on several hikes. All the food is organically grown and local. The pool and hot tubs are a wonderful way to spend the evening. The locals are so friendly. We had to go to a pharmacy for an illness and sunburns for people in our party. We were provided all we needed without having to see and pay for a doctor. Ecuador is an amazing place to visit, is clean, safe, and friendly. I highly recommend visiting Live the Life lodge.

What an amazing vacation, the food was so fresh and the pool was fantastic with incredible views.

This was my second trip to Live the Life lodge in beautiful Lentag. I live in Cuenca and it's nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. It's very peaceful and relaxing here. No constant mortar bombs going off telling people to go to church. Ha ha. Staying at lodge is by reservation or membership only, and to keep overhead down meals are planned in advance of your stay. Staffing is limited, but they are very attentive, pleasant, and helpful. They are not only your cook, but are also your tour guide, and jacuzzi lifeguard so pre-planning, flexibility and communication with the manager, Julady and lodge owner Torrin, is a must. During my stay a card tournament was held in the recreation building and staff Yulady and Alejandra organized a impromptu dance party for some of the locals and I, the solo gringo. It was so much fun watching everyone "Staying Alive" dancing around the bar area. I was also able to use the dry sauna, so great, after hiking around the falls around Giron. The tour to the falls is the best. So many things to do, all in one venue. Tour guide Alejandra is now fully qualified to advise you about the extreme activities available, such as the zip line. I plan on visiting again soon to see more of the local area. Salud Live the Life!

What a stay!!!! The lodge is an amazing place to stay to explore ecuador's natural beauty! The surrounding yungilla valley is unlike anything you have ever experienced. Breathtaking views, amazing hiking, waterfalls and the friendliest people you may ever meet!!! Attached below are pics of the valley ...interior of the lodge....and sunset around the lodge!!! I'm so happy I got the opportunity to go to Ecuador with my mother and stay at The Lodge. We had the best customer service we'd experienced in a long while, the employees are very happy and fun to talk to. Everyday felt like a dream with the happiest and kindest people I've ever met. Each day we did a totally different activity, we went to El Chorro Canopy waterfall and I did the amazing zipline there, we had massages, did a farm tour, went to the hotsprings, did a day trip to Cuenca, and much more. The sightseeing in the Yunguilla feels like you're in a fantasy world. The thing I loved the most about Ecuador and staying at The Lodge was the amazing food we had everyday with the freshest ingredients and the best tasting veggies and fruits. Go and see the paradise that Ecuador is and you won't ever regret it. Ecuador doesn't deserve being named a 3rd world country, I never saw a single homeless man where in America you'd see one on every corner. Healthcare and dental care is phenomenal here and there is the freshest fruits and veggies on almost every street. What more could you ask for?

Not really open for normal stays during COVID right now. But, if you call the owner he might help you do a special event. He also can show you land lots in the area that he has for sale and can finance for you. The one with the view high up over the river was my favorite.

Fue una experiencia inolvidable el lugar es perfecto me encanta un paraíso me olvide del estrés y me dedique a descansar y relajarme con mi esposo nos metimos al jacuzzi con agua caliente y la vista que enamora perfecto para una luna de miel mi esposo y yo volveremos el proximo año para nuestras vacaciones la comida deliciosa
