It was a beautiful place. I took a taxi to the last parking lot. From there, I walked 1 km to the admin office. From there, it was 15 min to the Ponderosa. Coming back, I tried to go to the mirador but I abandoned the idea because the trail was poorly marked and yet it was raining. I went to the Bombuscaro river. The view was fantastic. Later, I went to some smaller waterfall. At the end, I walked all the way to Zamora. In total, I walked some 26000 steps but I took lots of pictures on my way back.

Cascada la Poderosa
Se ubica a unos 7km. de la ciudad de Zamora dentro del Parque Nacional Podocarpus, a unos 100 m. de distancia del centro de administración. Para llegar ser recorre unos 15 minutos en vehículo hasta el estacionamiento del refugio, luego se camina 970 m. hasta el centro de administración del PNP del MAE.

Es una cascada muy bonita, se puede disfrutar de ella con familiares o amigos e incluso se puede hacer algo como picnic. Eso sí la basura te la llevas.

Espectacular para cuando quieres desconectarte de todo, de la ciudad y estar cerca de la naturaleza. Es como estar en un mini paraiso. Muy recomendado.
