This is a very nice place to eat in Tena. Our vegetarian dishes were delicious. We ordered the Avocado Salad, the Yucas Fritas, and a non-vegetarian panecook for my husband. For dessert we shared the vegan lemon tart- it’s made with “maduro “… it was delicious… I had a sugar-free papaya juice with water. The service is very good. We also had some
Coffee … check the menu! They have everything to try! My daughter loved the place… super colorful and good music. Nice view and ambience … the only little thing is that one of the servers makes a lot of noise as he interacts with everyone around and visitors from the neighborhood… seems he is very enthusiastic… ;) for the rest everything was just perfect… go visit ! U won’t regret it!

Best place for breakfast in all of Tena. Amazing food and drink selections, and great atmosphere! They also have options for lunch! The Tortuga cookies are so cute, and the location can't be beat!

We've only been in Tena for a couple of days but we've been back to Cafe Tortuga three times so far. And we'll probably come back tomorrow. The service is super friendly, the food is varied and interesting. And the whole vibe is interesting, fun, and centered around body-healthy and planet-healthy choices.

Very cool atmosphere in a good location with extremely friendly and chill staff. Cappuccino was good. I also had dinner here twice and the panini tortuga was surprisingly good. They use oyster mushrooms grown locally by a community cooperative. Lots of other surprisingly eco aware products sets this place at a level above what you might expect while traveling through Ecuador.

This is one of the best places in Tena to get a great and/or healthy breakfast. They also serve good lunches and dinners. Great fresh fruit juices. All of this can be offered in 4 languages. Very affordable place.

Cafe Tortuga gets a big green thumbs up from me.They are setting an example of how run a business that respects the environment by refraining from using any single use plastic and engaging in fair trade with local food producers.
You gotta try the "empanada de verde" with their delicious aji.

Very good and delicious breakfast (all day!!!) and Hamburgers. We have been here three days in a row and were never disappointed. Good value for money and very good quality of the products.
Also the staff is always friendly. 😊😊😊

Very yummy food, and friendly staff. Great location, ambience is 10/10 and food was decently priced! They have a nice mix of semi traditional foods and more "western" dishes.

I've eaten at Cafe Tortuga several times now the food is amazing the atmosphere is relaxing comfortable and very friendly. the staff are very friendly and are happy to take care of whatever you may need. The location along the river is amazing in my opinion the best restaurant and staff in town. The dessert menu at coffee is superb stop in check it out and order something to munch on or drink , relax in a friendly environment and enjoy I give it a 5-star rating
