Otra Ola Surf, Spanish, Yoga School

I really loved this place and it was definitely one of my favorite places in Ecuador. The atmosphere is so nice and friendly, I felt very save in Ayampe even during night, my Spanish teacher was really nice and I learnt a lot in five days, the snacks in the cafe are so good and doing yoga every morning was the best way to start the day at the beach. Huge recommendation!

They have the best cinnamon buns in the world I think!! So amazing. Bliss balls are awesome after yoga as well!!

Great place. Take big care of their clients.
You can have yoga, take spanish class or surf class/rentals.
++ Food is yummy, delicious, a lot of vegan options (coconut milk instead or cow for example).

Prices not excessive, yet still aligned with prices in this city.

Highly recommend. Not only is Ayampe already paradise but Otra Ola takes it to the next level. A community away from home with very high level yoga, surf instruction and spanish classes. Owners and team are extremely welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly.

Wonderful 9am yoga classes (especially yin yang is my favourite ✨), weekly ceremonies and other conscious events.

And in the afternoon: wonderful cacao, (gluten-free) baked goodies and more. 🦋

There was a community “garage sale” going on, so there was plenty of positive energy flowing. The mushroom ceviches were delicious!

The core flow yoga was a nice balance between strength and relaxation. The place and there people there have a great vibe. The cinnamon Rolls are amazing!

This place is one of the best parts of Ayampe. I came for a yoga class and quickly booked a package. The teachers are wonderful and teach to students of all levels. The cafe is a great place to have a delicious healthy snack after class and meet fellow yogis and travelers. Highly recommend their golden milk latte! This is a must visit if you’re in the area.

Started the day with morning yoga and a vegan protein shake. Couldn’t have wished for a better combo. You definitely have to add Otra Ola to your must see list in Ayampe.

Great vibe, great people, delicious food 🌞 I spent one week at Otra Ola for Yoga, Spanish lessons and surfing. Everyone I met was lovely. All the teachers were great. The place is perfect to unwind, very chill and laidback.

Delicious food and beverages, great healthy choices and super tasty! Great relaxing atmosphere with really friendly service. It’s right by the beach so you can relax with a coffee and watch the ocean from a hammock. I highly recommend this place during your stay and in Ayampe!

A place to calm down, connect with yourself & get to know beautiful people in soothing surroundings. Ayampe is a Tiny village close to Nature & the ocean. Btw. You should try the Kombuscha - it is homemade & delic.
