Nicest hotel I've stayed at in the DR. Chris and his wife are super hospitable. The grounds are clean, the pool is great the room is big, TV wonderful, king size bed very comfortable, walking distance to the town and the beach.
Very quiet neighborhood, all the staff is friendly. Housekeepers do the best laundry around.
Couldn't recommend it more highly! Keith Brown

Quiet, clean, comfortable. These are small apartments with separate bedrooms perfect for traveling together. Grounds are well maintained the staff is nice. It's very basic but this is a great value for the price. The location is super central walking distsnce to many places but tucked away enough to hide from the noise and the "happy" night life. Def recommend it.

Fantastic ocean front resort with all the amenities of Sosua out the front gate. 🥰

I met so many great people here at this resort from all of the staff to the locals off of the resort and as well as the many other travellers from other countries all over the world.... Спасибо.

From the very first minute stepping foot checking in having the bus boy show me my room. I had an ocean front room upgrade and it was very satisfactory having two balconies. The buffet food was great and something could be found for any appetite in my opinion.

I often went off resort either by myself or with others joining me. I felt very safe as I have travelled all over the world and can really recognize a bad situation.

Place is amazing. The service can be hit or miss if you don't speak the language. If that is the case always be patient. Most employees want to help you out even though it may not sound that way when they talk to you in English - sometimes things get lost in translation. Remain collected and they will find a solution or a way to try and help out. The grounds are beautiful and this last December they reopened their newly renovated main restaurant. It served delicious food and it has a great updated look and you can overseeing the ocean from your table. Priceless. We have been here now 4 times and we will return to this hotel soon.

I spent nearly 2 weeks during a round trip through the Dom-Republic.
I had a room with a great view to the ocean. Well it is like lots of other All-inclusive hotels. Guests have lots of opportunities to do around the area.
Drinking and eating is possible nearly 24 hours a day.
My room was always in a perfect condition. The stuff is friendly...and the price was perfect (well it was in low season...) I would come back again...anytime!

This is not a five star resort but it sure did seem like it. The pools were beautiful, but more so was my renovated deluxe beachside room, the three jacuzzis on the reef, the beach and I loved the buffet because they had Dominican food choices! I traveled by myself as a female and it was totally safe. Staff was friendly. It was the best!!

Loved the resort and the endless variety of food available. If the buffet was closed, there was always the snack bar available. The downside was the beach, when we where there the surf was rough and always a red or yellow flag. Upside, always the pool, or just lay on the beach. Definitely going back again next year with friends

I had a great time. Food great and plentiful.. views are magnificent. Good entertainment. Staff are very friendly. Wouldn't suggest going on the family days...call and ask as it can be very busy with kids and crowded at meal time.

We didn't stay at Hotel Don Andres but we stopped in for a drink when it started down-pouring while we were on a walk. Extremely friendly staff from the moment we sat down at the bar! We ordered margaritas which came to about $5USD and they were some of the best we've ever had!!! She shook it for so long that the shaker became icy, it was incredible! We will definitely be back for a drink again next time we are walking around Sosua in November!

Select at Casa Marina was amazing. A beautiful private setting with some great perks over the other portion of the resort. The select a la carte was MUCH nicer than the 3 regular dinners. Walking distance to Sosua, other beaches. The swim out rooms are beautifully placed looking out over the water. Or hop into the infinity pools for a similar effect.

Awesome for the price. I went to a 5* in the Dominican while I was here just to compare and they served the exact same thing at the buffet. The road side view when you pull in is very discouraging. Inside lots of pools and beach to choose from. A la carte needs to be booked ASAP if you make it for the morning get in line @ 9 am to book for 10.

Great resort, third time here and will be back again in March. 5 minute walk downtown, lots to see and do. Ask for Willy in front of resort for touring, treats you like family!

I used Amsha Marina Hotel just one week from January 12 to January 19, 2014, and I am very pleased with this stay. I'm 75 year old and I only eat raw, without heat treatment product.
I want to thank all the wonderful staff and especially Jose Sena for the excellent organization of the whole team.
