Fehmarn Strait

Only less than after a decade from now, you will not have to cross the Fehmarn Strait by ship or air to go to Copenhagen or the Scandinavian Peninsula from Hamburg or Central Europe, you will be able to go directly by road or rail too. The Fehmarn Tunnel, as of now, is already under construction since December. It will not only provide a direct link between northern Germany and Lolland, and from there to the Danish island of Zealand and Copenhagen, but will also establish a major connection between central Europe and Scandinavia, and will also fill the missing link of the E47 Highway.

It will become the world's longest road and rail tunnel at a length of 17.6 km (10.9 mi), surpassing the 13.5 km (8.4 mi) Marmaray Tunnel in Bosphorus, Turkey. It will consist of the 4-lane E47 Highway and a double track rail line, which will shorten the travel time between Lolland and Fehmarn from 45 minutes by ferry to 10 minutes by car and only 7 minutes by train. The rail service will be operated by DB, and its electrified high-speed rail will be capable of reaching 200 km/h (124 mph) in the tunnel.

It will be completed and become operational by 2029, and will be a great help for millions, as it will help to save time and expenses, and more number of people will be able to reach Copenhagen and Scandinavia. Wonderful sight when Danes pack thousands of beer cans into their cars. For such cars should be a surcharge because they weigh two times more than usual. I have not laughed so long. It is worth the trip.

Von einer Fußgängerbrücke oder von der Mole aus kann man die ein- und auslaufenden Fähren gut beobachten. Sehr beeindruckend. Oder auch mal als Fußgänger eine Hin- und Rückfahrt mitmachen, 11€ pro Person. Bei Sonnenuntergang besonders schön.

Достатньо швидкий пором. За 45хвилин доправився з Німеччини до Данії. З документами на реєстрації все дуже просто та швидко. В офісі вам видадуть бланк який потрібно заповнити, 10хвилин вистачить... після чого вас зареєструть і скажуть скільки зачекати до наступного порому, або , що вже можна їхати на завантаження. Також вам видадуть декільку купонів на знижку в дьюті фрі. Та один поромний білет, який спершу потрібно буде просканувати на в‘їздних воротах в порт. Після чого просто їхати по лініям з напямком міста до якого ви маєте прибути. Завантаження відбувається з допомогою спеціальних людей які будуть вказувати на яке конкретне місце ви можете стати. Після чого ви мусите вийти з автомобіля та прямувати на верхні палуби. На верхніх палубах є кав‘ярня, дьюті фрі магазин з сувенірами, парфюмами і біжутерією. Також на поромі присутній продуктовий магазин. Ціни на все занадто завищені. Наприклад звичайний брелок у вигляді Данії обійдеться в 12 євро. Також можна вийти на бокові палуби з виглядом на море... Після приблизно 45ти хвилин оголосять про причалювання до берегів Данії. Вам буде потрібно зі всіма пасажирами спуститися жо своїх автомобілів та чекати сигналу на виїзд. Після виїзду є обмеження швидкості пересування по території порту. Також не виключений контроль поліції або прикордонників на виїзді. Якщо вас не зупинили ви можете спокійно виїжджати з території порту і рухатись в своєму напрямку. Рекомендую!)

Eine tolle Gelegenheit im Urlaub günstig Schiff zu fahren. Den Kindern hat es gefallen. Die Überfahrt nach Dänemark dauert 45 Minuten. Das Auto kann mann, muss man aber nicht mitnehmen. An Bord kann mann sacken, Buffet essen oder auch günstig shoppen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einen Aufzug zu den verschiedenen Decks gibt es auch zwei mal. Lohnt sich immer wieder.

Все понравилось, но.... уважаемые водители большегрузов, имейте совесть, вы же не свиньи, на пароме есть мусорные баки...... а вы......

Eine tolle Möglichkeit des Transfers von Deutschland nach Dänemark, entweder hin, oder zurück oder gleich beides. Die Überfahrt ist verbunden mit einer kleinen Schiffsreise und man kann im Hafen und auf dem Schiff dem interessanten Treiben der vielen Menschen und Fahrzeuge zuschauen. Gerade auch mit dem Rad eine abwechslungsreiche Strecke.

Fajne szybkie połączenie promowe miedzy Niemcami i Danią. Można odnieść wrażenie iż wjeżdza się na prom z jednej strony i po chwili wyjeżdża z drugiej. Na promie wszystko co potrzebne czyli restauracja i sklep niestety czas otwarcia działu alkoholowego niezwykle krótki by się namyśleć co się chce ( chyba że się wie po co się idzie ).

Ein schöner Ort die Fähren ⛴ zu beobachten

Erstmals bin ich mit der Vogelfluglinie 1988 gefahren nach Dänemark und weiter mit einer anderen Fährlinie, von Helsingor nach Helsingborg Schweden. Auch heute ist es noch eine schöne Route! Von Puttgarden mit dem Schiff, nach Dänemark. Ahoi!
