Rosenhøj Bed and Breakfast

Fantastic B&B with loads of character and great food. Rooms are huge double roomed suites with bathrooms and a lovely boutique feel. Great hosts in Patrick and Trine, with Trine being a fantastic cook. We held our reception here for our wedding and both Trine and Patrick made the whole experience as relaxing and stress free. In the end an amazing day with a great set up and delicious spread of food. Cannot recommend the place highly enough, and if you get the opportunity try their curry!

The tragedy of Rosenhøj Bed and Breakfast is that, at some point, you have to leave. We had such an amazing time staying here. The room was charming and comfortable, access to the town and nearby bike bath very convenient, and the food incredible (highly recommend dinner, if offered). But what made our visit so special was getting to chat with and know Patrick and Trine, who in addition to being gracious, consummate hosts, are just lovely people. We are grateful for the visit and hope to come back!

Lovely designed quirky rooms with art and vintage pieces, fantastic breakfast and very attentive hosts at this special BnB, well worth the visit to Svendborg. Patrick and Trina recommended local places to eat and even lent us their bikes in the morning for a ride in the autumn sun. Thank you!

Visited Rosenhoj Bed & Breakfast during the month of October and had a wonderful time exploring Svendborg. Rosenhoj is just a 5-10 minute walk to the waterfront and/or the city centre, so it worked very well walking and nice not having to start the car all the time. Returning home to Rosenhoj in the afternoons, getting warm in front of the fireplace, having coffee/tea, dinner and wine/beer was a lovely and relaxing way to spend the evenings.
We stayed here 6 adults and 2 children. We had booked the 2 rooms available at Rosenhoj and had brought our caravan, which was parked in the driveway and that worked really well.
We'd all like to thank Trine & Patrick immensely for helping to make our stay in Svendborg an amazing experience. Thank you!

We stayed for 2 nights at the brand new and spacious room with a sea view. We were 2 adults and 2 children (12 and 15). The room was tastefully decorated and had a nice and cozy vibe to it!

We really enjoyed the drinks (prepared by Patrick) at the balcony (private and with direct access from our room). We had dinner on our first night - absolutely fantastic Indian food! We really enjoyed it - and the breakfast in the morning was just as fantastic.

If you want to stay in a really nice B&B with tasteful interior design, amazing food, extremely high level of personal service and a great location, as well, then Rosenhøj B&B is the place to go! We will definitely be back.

We had the most wonderful stay and Trine and Patrick were even more gracious hosts! The place is spacious, comfortable,and almost out of a painting. We woke up to a home cooked, delicious breakfast. But the highlight is the hosts - always helpful and full of fun stories. We were even driven to the ferry by Patrick! Would love to visit again!

We had the pleasure of staying for a long weekend, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The food was delightful, the atmosphere was charming, and Trine and Patrick's hospitality was exceptional. We are already looking forward to my next visit!

We stayed 2 nights in the spacious suite up the stairs with our own living area and the view of the lovely garden and sea in the distance in June. It was one of the best accomodation we had during our 2 week tour of Denmark, one which we will remember fondly.. Our suite, the public and dining area were very tastefully decorated with a ‘homely’ feel.

Patrick and Trine were great hosts, warm and helpful. Breakfast was awesome; with their special granola and very deliciously cooked hot items as well as the usual cold meat and cheese. It was lovely to sit in their lovely garden in June.

Not only do you get a wonderful "bed" and "breakfast", but Patrick and Trine go above and beyond to make sure you have the perfect trip to Svendborg for you. Even in winter time, you feel the warmth and cozyness of this historic place called Rosenhøj Bed and Breakfast. The house oozes with charm, the beds are top notch, the food is amazing and you're very close to both the centre of Svendborg and the sea if you fancy a dip. Actually you enjoy the seaview from your bedroom. Apart from serving the best breakfast in town, Trine is an extremely talented chef. The couple also hosts Indian dinner nights, where even the relishes are homemade. Fabulous experience. Come see for yourselves.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Patricks and Trine's charming old house (and garden) in Svendborg, conveniently located within walking distance to the city centre and harbour. The rooms are spacy and cosy. However, what stands out are Trine and Patrick. We have seldomly experienced such a warm and welcoming service, handling flexibility in early arrival, sharing stories, and serving a wonderful homemade breakfast. They are truly remarkable!

Tldr: would stay again.

Stayed 1 night in the glamping tent. The accommodation was just as lovely as the hosts, Trine and Patrick. We had a delicious 3 course dinner made from organic goods for only 250 kroner each. It's possible to fit a travel cot for an infant/toddler in the tent if you bring one yourself. Breakfast is included in the price.

Cosy Small Bed and breakfast not long from the center of lovely Svendborg. Trine and Pat have created a wonderful get away.
Try the Supper Club arrangements… you will not be disappointed.

A fantastically nice accommodation in a calm and relaxing environment. Very nice owners with excellent service. Homemade delicious breakfast (more like a brunch). The suite was very tastefully decorated with a homely feel! An added plus was that there was a fridge. An excellent location close to the city centre, restaurants and harbour.
We warmly recommend Rosenhøj bnb and would love to come back soon!

Lovely stay and overall experience. The house and garden are beautiful and Trine and Patrick are great hosts, the meals great.

Only good words from me and my wife. A really nice place with super nice hosts. You really feel welcome, the tent and house facilities are really nice, the food was super good and I could keep on.
A place we will revisit if we come back to these areas.

Vi havde en skøn forlænget weekend i midten af oktober, i forbindelse med en fødselsdag. Patrick gav os en varm velkomst allerede i indkørslen og fra dette øjeblik følte vi os bare godt tilpas hos Trine og Patrick. Værtsparret oplevede vi som meget afslappede, rummelige og servicemindede og vi blev godt forkælede med tilpas opmærksomhed og Trines lækre mad.
Desværre indbød vejret ikke til at sidde på den sydvendte terrasse, men vi nød de store, lyse og hyggelige værelser samt de komfortable senge.
Rosenhøj ligger tilpas centralt og indbyder til 15 minutters raske gåture til Svendborgs hyggelige butiksstrøg og havn.

Vi kan kun på det varmeste anbefale et ophold hos Trine og Patrick.

Vi havde en fantastisk overnatning på Rosenhøj med enormt lækker og smagfuld mad og en super hyggelig og gæstfri atmosfære. Patrick og Trine er virkelig gode værter, og vi følte os meget velkomne. For os var det et helt perfekt sted til et tiltrængt get away. Klart anbefalelsesværdigt!!
