Kystmuseet Skagen

Very nice intro to the Skagen artists. Lots of English speaking guides available, all signage in English and Danish.

This a wonderful local museum. I enjoyed the stories it tells of the town's maritime history and fishing trade. Anyone with a sense of history will enjoy what this museum had to offer. Plus, it just a short walk from Drachmans hus and the town center.

Super cute and very interesting

I was in this beautiful open museum a few days ago with a group of 23 French teenagers (summer camp) and it was absolutely great!
First, the staff is very kind and welcoming.
Secondly, the information were very clear and interesting, both in the exhibitions that on the flyer. It was easy to make a tour by ourselves and explain all the former history of Skagen (life, fishing industry, architectural periods...) to the teenagers who were fascinated.
A really nice place to visit! Plus, the entrance was free for teenagers. I strongly recommend! Thank you.

A really interesting & we'll laid out museum that gives a clear picture of what life was like for fishermen & their families. It has a small shop & cafe + a children's playroom that gives a very "hands on" way of teaching the young generation too. It also has a wonderful ladt, Esther, who will give a lot more help & background about everything

Time in port didn't permit an inside visit, but the outside was with a short walk through a very quiet neighborhood. Friendly people, wonderful weather!

Mega fedt lokalt historie museum. Du kommer bag facaden på den ellers meget smukke by. Hører om fiskerne, redningsaktioner og livet i Skagen før i tiden. Der er også aktiviter for børn
Pt. En super fed særudstilling om sandflugt. Et besøg værd for både skoler, familier og ældre

Ganz tolles süßes Museum, vor allem mit Kids. Richtig cool die Kids können hier sogar Handwerken sich verkleiden und eine Rally machen. Wir sind sehr angetan.
