Indian Curry House

I had a great meal! There is a lot of hate here unfortunately. I can agree the initial service could have been better and more welcoming. Yet I choose to come here as I was craving a curry. I've been to Punjab where the owners are from, and I had a proper Punjabi meal. I asked for a recommendation and the butter lamb, was a proper Punjabi spiced curry, NOT the standard western creamy thing. Yes, the service was a bit drab initially, but that's what many Danish establishments are also like without the criticism. Don't believe the haters, a great curry and eventually great service too.

I saw and read the reviews here, and it’s mostly bad reviews. But to be honest, when we get in the restaurant the owner was very nice and explained to us and so hospitable, it was only me and my husband there, we love it coz its quiet and the area wasnt that big but really fine! The food was tasting really good, we got maharaja turkey and also beef and it goes with rice. We also had chapati! All in all it was satisfying for real! And i don’t understand why some reviews here are a bit rude. You must be a super chef if you’re complaining that bad. Dont get me wrong, but i have tried indian foods in other restaurants and theirs’ is not bad at all! In fact we had a great time just eating there and relaxing.

Wonderful service, good food!

This is very good restaurant i worked here for short time 2.5 years ago as my first work place, i know the foods are very fresh and they maintain the best quality. The Chef take care of foods like home. I love to eat again and again there. I miss the restaurant and i will never forget the restaurant. Good Luck.

Super dejlig mad . Autentisk indisk. Osse hele atmosfæren på restauranten og en meget venlig og rolig betjening var i top. Alt i alt en rigtig go oplevelse. Kan varmt anbefales.

Det er det mest fantastiske og tætteste du kommer på smagen af Indien- i Aarhus. Restauranten har eksisteret siden 1997 og det er meget lidt, som har ændret sig. Bliv ikke skræmt af den tidslomme som, man kommer ind i. Maden er simpelhen så fantastisk. Priserne er overkommelige. En smagsoplevelse værd.

Maden var luksus. Vi fik bestilt.:
Chiken butter masala - mild.
Butter lamb masala tikka - Uden chili (var lidt sødt)
Beef korma - Normal

Maden kom som vi bestilte.
Det indiske mad til det pris, er virkelig det bedste jeg har fået.

Et tip til alle.
Indisk = kylling. Et bedre kombination kan ikke fåes.

Rigtig lækker mad og gode drikkevare, servicen fejlede ikke noget, rigtig godt sted hvis du skal ud og spise med din familie eller spise hjemme og slappe af, de levere nemlig også hurtigt ud og til billig pris:)
