Mefisto Restaurant & Gårdhave

We had a delightful dining experience here. The smoked salmon was perfectly seasoned, offering a rich and smoky flavor that complemented the tender texture. The turbot dish was a standout, beautifully cooked and paired with crispy tempura vegetables that added a delightful crunch to each bite.

Really a great restaurant with a french vibe, the food is very good and fresh. The staff is very kind and service-orientated. Especially the little bar on the right side is very cozy, and great for a drink and a small bite (the lobster nuggets are delicious)

At least for me Mefisto is so far "The best restaurant in Denmark", perhaps some others in CPH are better than this one but, none of them have "table linen", "amazing staff", "delicious food", it's easy to see they only use high quality ingredients", the price is more than reasonable for Denmark". It's going to my favorite Restaurant in Aarhus from now on. Only one note to the Restaurant Manager: Please add some hooks behind the toilet's door for coat and bag pack/purse. Thanks and see you soon.

What a wonderful place this is. The food was superb, the service was outstanding. Thanks to the whole team for making this evening so special! I will definitely come back as soon as possible.

PS: You def should think about selling posters and t-shirts with the placards from your walls 😊

I'm writing this as I eat cause this restaurant deserves all the praises they can get. The food and service are excellent and everything that we ordered tasted amazing. The atmosphere and ambient were great as well. This restaurant deserves 5 star rating.

Went here with two friends that are from Denmark. The brunch was amazing ,and the service was great. If I ever make it back to Denmark, will definitely go here again.

Excellent cosy small restaurant in the center of Aarhus. The staff was very friendly accommodating. There were two fixed menus on the carte (on Tuesdays) and they accepted that we switched the starters on the menu. The food was well prepared and tasty. Wine card was good. Prices were fair. Service of the staff very good and fast. This restaurant can be highly recommended.

I think this was the best meal I've had in Denmark. First of all, the crusty rolls and butter they give you immediately were great. What's in the delicious whipped garlic butter??? Why is it bright green??? I don't know, and I don't care, it was incredible. I ordered the stjerneskud "shooting star" and it was HUGE - three different kinds of fish cooked (in my admittedly inexpert opinion) very well, lots of little shrimp, some kind of spicy mayonnaise, salad, lemon, all on rye (?) bread. Thank you to the kind waiter who warned me I didn't need another appetizer to go with it. I couldn't even finish it. The aperol spritz was good as well, and everyone else in the place seemed to be having a great time. There was even a surprise engagement at another table the night I was there (she said yes). It's pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. Wonderful time all around.

Excellent dinner! The food was delicious. Best asparagus I ever ate, I really enjoyed the set up menu, every meal was a discovery and the rhubarb ice cream at the end was just perfect!

Cozy seafood restaurant. Menu is not too extensive but everything tastes fresh and delicious. Mussels are a must.

Food was excellent, beef tartare for starter and fish for main.
