Café Skt. Gertrud

One of the best restaurants in Odense, hands down. I tried the chicken Caesar and the mussels, plus red and white wines. The salad was fresh and the chicken was juicy and tender. The mussels were definitely the highlight though: plump, delicious, great sauce. They came with a side of amazing French fries, by the way. It’s a bit pricey, but absolutely worth the money. Plus the staff members were extremely nice and polite. It took them a while to get the food out, but that’s because they were packed, and that’s on a Tuesday night! Totally understandable, because it’s a really nice, cozy place with a great view and excellent food.

Very nice cafe. The atmosphere was very inviting and the staff was very friendly. One of the best cappuccinos I've had and the club sandwich was delicious. Will definitely return when I make it back to Denmark.

Exceptional service. We came to try the restaurant out for some wine and deserts some months ago, and became enthralled with the quality of the food, the presentation, the atmosphere and amazing service.
We decided to come back last week for some entrees and mussels, as well as the great Chablis you serve, and it definitely made my evening. One feels very spoiled and satisfied.
I cannot wait to come back again!

Looks and taste's fantastic ,not cheap but we are in Denmark

Very nice atmosphere and very kind staff. We chose guinea fowl and caesar salad, both of which were very tasty. The guinea fowl was perfectly cooked and I recommend trying it.

This visit was amazing. We passed it and saw quite a few people there so we entered. Luckily there was place, so we could eat here. I want to give my compliments to the people working there and especially the ladies serving at the tables. The hard work 💪🏻 they did!! Incredible it was very busy but we never had to wait! Not for ordering not for getting our drinks or food! I had the moules (mussels) which were very nice too. So overall very good and A BIG COMPLIMENT TO THE STAFF!

Amazing French place in a beautiful plaza. Their salad and main courses are delicious, and the service was great too. If you’re in the area looking for a place to eat, I highly recommend this place. It can be quite crowded at times, especially outside.

Pricey but delicious food. Best steamed mussels. Friend staff and varied menu. In pedestrian area, 500 yards from Hotel Odeon ( a must stay in hotel).
Bring your bottled water!

this French style bistro is a must-eat! The food as well as the atmosphere and the wine selection is worth the trip.

The place itself have a nice relaxing atmosphere. I my opinion café skt. Gertrud offers one of the best coffees you may find in Odense.
They have classic café menu with a French touch, simple and good and a broad selection of beer, wine and drinks.
The service is fast and welcoming.

The food was to die for, large number of beers and other drinks. Cost was much less then we planned for and the staff was the best.
