Great bøfsandwich and salat. Service was top attentive and you got a feeling of true Danish hospitality. Also they got a lunch beer that has a little less alcohol than normal beers so you won’t be too drowsy if you need to get back to work after your lunch

Grub that I had (slow beer cooked pork) was excellent and went well with the beer.

We tasted some fantastic beers last night and 1 Gin too 😍 If you ever come to #Aalborg in the northern part of Jylland, do visit Søgaards Bryghus - they have their own café and bar where they sell their beers, gins, rums and soon whiskey too 😍 Here is Gin drink, Bloody Orange 🍊😍

I got to Soegaards at 1730 without a reservation, and they quickly found me a table. Food is really good, locally sourced ingredients and well prepared. Great range of beers. They told me in advance that 2 types were being brewed and so weren't available but there were many other choices. Service is friendly but not in-your-face, which is how I like it. The prices are not too expensive, at least compared to the hotel where I was staying. If you find yourself in Aalborg and need somewhere good to eat & drink, I'd recommend Soegaards.
