Viking graveyard dating between 400-1000AD, the museum is NOT to be missed!!! SO MUCH good information in there, all with English explanations, so easy imagine what life was like back in the times these people inhabited this area. I particularly liked displayed on the use of those flint mining, working it into tools and weapons and how that changed over time as new technologies and materials became available.

Very interesting place to visit. A unique place that includes nearly 700 graves, that span a period of 500 years. The cemetery was associated with a nearby Viking village, where the foundations have been marked out on the ground. The area is accessible without paying and there are boards explaining things. I suggest to visit also the museum, you pay for it, to better understand the site. There is also a small restaurant serving good food.

Beautiful and tranquil place in superb natural setting. I came to visit at 7.30 pm and there were no other visitors. Free admission, car parking next to the location. Highly recommended even if you are not into monuments from the viking era.

I enjoyed Lindholm Hoje. As a historical site dating from 400 ce and used until around 1000 ce it is interesting to see where people lived and were buried in close proximity. The stones aren't magical, but the story they tell is full of imagination.

A spectacular place to live and visit. Quite windy.

The site is presented with a beautiful understatement that lends itself to imagination.

Spectacular site. Very special place with a fascinating story, both in terms of it's ancient-medieval use and its modern rediscovery. Please support the site by visiting the museum and considering purchasing items from the gift shop.

Fascinating place to let your imagination run wild. Scandinavia’s major Viking burial site and former settlement situated to the north of and overlooking the city of Aalborg in Denmark. Take a walk around the various graves in a beautiful field. Definitely a must-see! The museum nearby has artifacts dug up from past excavations.
