Wildebeest Gastropub

Excellent sliders, super friendly service, great music taste, and good coffee 😋 I was extremely happy this place was so close to my hotel, because it was on my list-to-visit before I even booked accommodations. This little pub is awesome! it has such a cool interior, lots of varying wood grains, and creative food; highly recommend visiting when you're in Aalborg!

Wildebeest Gastropub is a gorgeous, rustic eatery that you must take advantage of while in Aalborg.

We decided on this place for dinner last minute while attending a conference and were worried we wouldn't get a table. Luckily they have an online reservation system that lets you book as late as 45 minutes before you want to arrive.

Although it has an upper level, the restaurant itself is pretty small and fills up fast! The atmosphere is far more pub-like than restaurant, and it feels so cozy for the delicious food they serve. I only ordered one vegetarian slider and a side of fries, and was stuffed when all was said and done. The slider was packed with lettuce, onions, and other tasty toppings -- definitely keep their "slider guidelines" in mind, as it would be easy to over-order!

We aren't big drinkers, but they also had a well-stocked bar and incredibly friendly servers. Highly recommend you give this place a shot!

The best burger in town! Quality ingredients, hand cut fries, and a delicious, smokey, bloody beef patty. The hand selected beer is just the apple on top to a meal that will send you straight to heaven.

Lot’s of really good beers. Had no food here but what I saw looked super delicious. Staff is also super friendly. Worth a visit!!

Is this a great burger place that happens to have good beer, or is this a great beer bar that happens to have good food? That is the beauty of this place. Finally a place gets it right, with good quality and creative burgers paired with a large selection of craft beer. PLEASE COME TO COPENHAGEN!

Great place for nice burgers and tasty beer

This was a fantastic evening.
Very nice food served in a cosy warm bistro.
Kind service with a little humor. There is also a posibillety to play some boardgames.

The sliders were delicious, I got 3 and sides.. maybe that was a bit too much but I'm not regretting!

Very cosy atmosphere, and an excellent selection of beer. The sliders were great, and there was plenty of food in two sliders and a side order - most of us almost struggled to finish it. It was so good we had to, though. I am especially a fan of the breaded and fried cauliflower. They've got some interesting sliders with combinations of flavours you wouldn't usually think would work. Definitely recommended, but book a table ahead of time - it's a busy place, but service is really fast.

Great food. "Normandy Flapjack" is flipping amazing. Great selection of regularly changing craft beer. I like the atmosphere. Came back after a few years. Still awesome 👍

By far one of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted, you can really tell the meat is high-quality. Also, chargrilled, making for an extra delicious experience. The beer selection is excellent, with some very good local brews. The ambience is cosy, with wooden interiors and rustic furniture. The service is friendly and everyone spoke english, as is almost always the case in Aalborg. I recommend booking in advance!
