The church is beautiful and has a good atmosphere. Used for many different things everyday. Also it is a very beautiful chapel that has been visited by many from all over the country. The church is a beautiful modern church. Not too warm and comfortable. Proper lighting. It's very nice outside. A small hiking trail with nature and forest. The church is overgrown with forest and so it is calm and peaceful. As in churches and especially in services.

Gezellige stad met een leuk plein vol kroegjes. Het is wel een beetje een doorreis stad, veel toeristen die de boot nemen na 1 nacht verblijven. Het strand is erg leuk voor een lange wandeling.

Sehr schöne Kirche. Schlicht mit weißen Wänden, klar Glas Fenstern und goldenem Altarkreuz. Für Kinder liegen Bücher auf Dänisch aus. Ein Heft erklärt gut die Geschichte der Kirche.

Der Grundstein wurde im Jahre 1907 gelegt. Fertiggestellt wurde die Kirche 1908.
Der Bau kostete damals 33 000 DKK.
Nachdem Hirtshals durch den Hafenbau rasant wuchs, musste die Kirche vergrößert werden.
Das geschah in den 1960er Jahren. Der alte Chor wurde abgerissen und wesentlich vergrößert.
1967 wurde der alte Turm abgerissen und durch einen Neubau mit einer Höhe von 26 m ersetzt.
Im Jahr 2007 wurde restauriert und eine neue Orgel angeschafft.
