Best Hotel restaurant I have ever experienced! An unusual smoky aroma will hit you as soon as you come inside in the evening, and the cosy yet open space has a really nice vibe. Staff were all excellent, attentive and friendly. Then also the food, wow! We visited for a conference and ate 3 nights here we enjoyed so much.

During my solo trip to Copenhagen, I stayed at the AC Hotel Bella Sky. Restaurant Basalt is conveniently located inside the hotel. I visited the restaurant with no preconceived notions. I didn't even open the menu. I allowed the waiter to choose my courses as well as the wine pairing. This was one of the most flavorful meals that I've ever tasted. I was so impressed by the quality of ingredients and the chef's attention to detail. The prices were great too. I would have been more than willing to pay twice as much. The meal, the ambiance, the ingredients, the waiters, and the chef all deserve 5 stars!

It was an great evening, felt like an family evening. We got the chef's table and so we participate in the wonderful kitchen interaction. The 5 course menu was a nice stroll through the menu. Wonderfully combined with a great selection of wines. Totally 5 star evening! Thank you

Very good restaurant. The kitchen is open and you can see the chefs preparing the dishes on the open fire. Excellent steak! Good wine selection. A bit pricey but worth a visit.

Delicious, different food and absolutely fantastic amd friendly service. We had the best waitress, friendly, funny and knowing. The food was really good, and especially the dessert (snobrød with brioche dough) was much appreciated by everyone in our party.

The reason why I booked this hotel! One of the best eating experiences in CPH, if not even Europe! The quality is outstanding and it is an experience you have to made!

Such a simple yet beautiful meal featuring Nordic cuisine! Very friendly service and amazing to watch how the chefs prepare dishes. I had the monkfish and it was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of parsley and butter. Highly recommend!

Lovely food, lovely staff

We had the Iberico Porc : EXQUISITE ! the meat was cooked to perfection and the dish was beautiful and well balanced. In general, the service was nice and friendly. We came back for more … the place is nice and well decorated.

Great gourmet food with very high standard. In fact, lavishly. Everything made from the bottom of amazing ingredients with a good story. A big difference from the traditional hotel kitchen. Superb staff with great enthusiasm for what they do and especially Jesper (souschef).

Definitely a different restaurant experience, the food is good and the atmosphere is just exceptional. The food is down to earth but clearly made with quality ingredients by a skilled hand.

Really enjoyed the food here. I had Lobster Bisque for starter which was lovely and delicate, and Beef Tenderloin for main. The service was good and our large group was well looked after.

Wonderful evening in this gem of a restaurant! Don't be fooled that it's a "hotel restaurant". Amazing dishes with bold flavours, knowledgeable and friendly service and yummy cocktails. Reasonably priced too. Highly recommended!
