Hex! Museum of Witch Hunt

Very interesting stories and unique experience. Definitely recommend.
Keep in mind that if you want to read and listen to everything, it can take almost 3 hours for the whole museum.
Also the audio tags are a bit counter intuitive. They are big black squares but you need to point your audio guide to a very specific point at the top of the square.

We loved it! Even though the price it is a bit on the high side (around 26€ for two adults) and the exhibition is quite small it is totally worth it! The art installation, sounds, effects and videos were amazing. You get swept into the with hunting times and feel, hear and live it! The Audioguides wich is available in many languages tops the experience giving a big amount of information. This is a definite must go place if you would like to experience a different kind of museum, a feel fully emerge in another time and context and concept! Awesome insights, and great art installation!

If you are into history & witches, this place is definitely worth a visit! Lots of information, large enough to spend at least an hour & the shop has cool stuff you can buy.

It was absolutely fascinating! They had audio guides that told the story of every exhibit as well as 2 different short videos. I learned so much! It was much bigger than I expected so give yourself a good 2 and a half or 3 hours.

I loved it. I learned a lot about witches, but also about women's rights at the time. It's not so much a visual museum, but informative nonetheless. The gift shop was brilliant, tho, with tons of witch-related books, paintings, cups, and food. The young guy who sold me the tickets was very sweet.

If you're in Ribe and interested in European history or even just feminism, it's well worth the visit.

Extrem interessantes Museum!
Hat sich sehr gelohnt, man kann hier echt viel Zeit verbringen. Es ist sehr schön, mit viel Liebe zum Detail, gestaltet und mit dem Audioguide, der auch auf Deutsch super umgesetzt ist, kann man sich richtig gut in die Zeit hineinversetzen. Abwechslungsreich wird das Museum auch durch die animierten Filme über einzelne Fälle.

Es lohnt sich, war dort 22.11.23 und es ist sehr aufwendig gestaltet. Viele Animationen, Videos. Tolles Licht in den Räumen - visuell und hörbar. Man kann dort mehre Stunden verbringen -unbedingt ansehen ! Audioguide auch vorhanden.

På vikingemarked hvor det vrimlede med "vikinger" i boder som solgte fine varer. Der var domafsigelser, musikanter og vikinger til hest med svær og økse samt masser af vikinge boliger man kunne gå ind og se og lidt skibe fra den tid. Et besøg værd.

Es wird die Geschichte einzelner 'Hexen' erzählt, der Beginn, Ausmaß und Ende der Hexenverfolgung.
Bewegend, einfühlsam, anschaulich!
Auch wird alles in deutsch per Schrift oder Audio erklärt.

Super interessantes Museum. Überall alles auf deutsch, dänisch und englisch beschrieben. Zusätzlich bekommt man ein kleines Kästchen, was einem an jeder Station in der jeweiligen Landessprache alles erzählt. Top gemacht!!

Maravilloso lugar donde la historia de las brujas está muy bien documentada, existen varias historias con audiovisuales increíbles, donde narran la historia específica de danesas quemadas en la hoguera. Los niños mayores de 8 años ( en mi caso) y 11 años, disfrutaron mucho aunque tal vez, un poco impresionante para ellos. Recomendado para todo público en general. También hay una exposición muy interesante sobre los niños “brujos” en Nigeria.

War sehr interessant durch das audioguid, viel zu erkunden, gab auch Filme zum anschauen. Wenn man sich für Hexen bzw Hexenjagd interessiert auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Sehenswert mit toller Einführung. Alles in den Sprachen Deutsch, Englisch und Dänisch. Jeder Besucher erhält ein eigenes Gerät für die einzelnen Erklärungen in der gewählten Sprache. Behindertengerecht mit Aufzug.

Es hat uns außerordentlich gut gefallen, Preise sind okay und Kinder überall kostenfrei. Wir haben in diesem kleinen , sehr feinen Museum fast zwei Stunden verbracht, auch die pubertären Kinder waren interessiert und haben nicht gemault.

Utrolig spændende.
Flot lille museum. Ørefelefoner ville være bedre når skoleklasser også kommer på besøg; gør det svært at høre de forskellige fortællinger.
Husk at afsætte minimum 2.5 timer.
